The other part of this constitutional amendment, and the only reason it passed with the bleeding heart libs, is that it would allow a judge to release without bail a non-violent defendant that claims economic destitution would prevent him from posting bail. The bail bondsmen don't like that part as it would cut their business. On the other hand, if there is no bail money paid, the accused could flee and it would be up to LEO's to locate and catch him.
We will see how this all works out. In the meantime stay watchful and armed!
