ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. For the past three months federal agents worked undercover with local cops and made more than 100 arrests for everything from drug trafficking to murder.
Statistics tell us that our state has one of the highest violent crime rates in the nation, New Mexico District U.S. Attorney Damon Martinez said.
Special agent Tom Atteberry said Albuquerque is especially violent.
Atteberry is from Phoenix, Arizona, and brought a team to New Mexico because crime has gotten so out of control. He said New Mexico's justice system allows repeat violent offenders to get released as quickly as police arrest them.
"There's a lot of people on the street that shouldn't be. A lot of armed career criminals, people with three four and five felony convictions roaming the streets, Atteberry said.
"I've been at this close to 25 years and I can tell you without a doubt this has been the most successful joint federal, state, local county operation that we've ever been involved in, New Mexico State Police Chief Pete Kassetas said.

Oddly enough, the State as a whole is a ‘Rat paradise and home to lotsa H->! support.
Albuquerque is also a popular haven for abortionists of all stripes.
More gang members per capita than Los Angeles.
Wasn’t that where they buried The Raccoons on “The Honeymooners”? :) or was that Bismark, North Dakota? :)
Albuquerque is the 5th most violent city in the nation (ATF statistics)
This begs the question (not addressed at the link) which Cities are the top four?
I can probably guess at least three correctly...
The other part of this constitutional amendment, and the only reason it passed with the bleeding heart libs, is that it would allow a judge to release without bail a non-violent defendant that claims economic destitution would prevent him from posting bail. The bail bondsmen don't like that part as it would cut their business. On the other hand, if there is no bail money paid, the accused could flee and it would be up to LEO's to locate and catch him.
We will see how this all works out. In the meantime stay watchful and armed!
It’s Walter White’s fault.
My first thought, too.
It’s what happens when there’s a history of Rat leadership. Just like here in California the people keep thoughtlessly electing RATS, because the RAT lies with a straight face, and says such nice things knowing the people will do as they want them to, because thinking requires too much energy.

There is Rat leadership in Portland Oregon. Most atheist city in US. Number one in human trafficking.
Most human trafficking on West Coast US that is.
My daughter just moved back from New Mexico.
She still has the reactions to things like someone who lived in a third world country. The other day I got out of my car and left my sunglasses and some change on my arm rest. I thought she would blow a gasket going back in the car to hide them. And we were in a town with 0 crime in the past year or so.
I looked at her and said you are in Mexico City any more.
Love Santa Fe. Albuquerque, not so much...
Bring back 7 foot Picket.
My Mother’s ancestors came from the Island of Colonsay in the Inner Hebrides.
Until a couple of years ago there had never been a serious crime reported there. Then someone stole over a hundred dollars from a vacation cabin.
It turned out to be a laborer who was not from the Island.
How ‘bout that “multiculturalism and diversity”? Time to “celebrate”! Fifth ain’t bad.
