Baltimore’s top law enforcement and political leaders on Wednesday vowed a sweeping overhaul of the city Police Department after a searing rebuke of the agency’s practices, which the Justice Department said regularly discriminated against black residents in poor communities.
Officials promised improved community relations, a purge of race-based policing and a modernized department that better trains officers and holds them accountable. But they warned that reforming an agency entrenched in a culture of unconstitutional policing would be a slow process and could cost millions of dollars.
“Police reform won’t happen overnight or by chance,” Vanita Gupta, principal deputy assistant attorney general, said at a news conference officially unveiling the Justice Department’s 163-page report. “It’s going to take time, and it’s going to require a focused and sustained effort.”

In order to be more compliant with Baltimore neighborhoods, the Baltimore officials have sent police job applications to South Chicago....
The Democrats have always wanted an organized national internal armed force under their control. They have tried unsuccessfully for decades to subvert local police forces to their will through the unions. And they have illegally militarized numerous federal agencies subsequently using those forces to oppress citizens. Now the Democrats are illegally federalizing a local police force of a sovereign state.
It doesn't get more blatant than this. The Democrat Party are NAZIs!

If the Baltimore cops had been found guilty (regardless of contrary evidence), we would have never heard a word from the Just Us Dept. about Freddie Gray and the racist cops.

I saw portions of Gupta’s blathering today.
Of most interest to me was her use of a made up legal term “Reasonable Cause.”
I know of Probable Cause which meand you have enough to arrwat and jail someone until a judge approves or disapproves of the charging....
and Reasonable Suspicion....which means a cop has enough articulable information to detain someone for further investigation.
She threw together two phrases which as far as I know mean nothing but makes it sound like some legal finding occured.
I can’t find the exact numbers reported earlier, but 4% of random stops of black pedestrians resulted in arrests and much fewer whites per population were stopped, and there was something about how a higher percent of traffic stops were on blacks, and a high percent were arrested. The DOJ said that a much higher percent of whites who were stopped were arrested, so Baltimore PD is racist.
The news didn’t point out that while blacks are about 65% of the population, they are the perpetrators of about 95% of the violent crime, and the whites were stopped for non-random reasons, although the cops claimed the stops were random.
I hate to say it, but I hope Baltimore becomes a more obvious example of denial.
They need a sweeping overhaul of Baltimore, not the Baltimore police.
All I can say is that if you care anything for your ass, stay the hell out of Baltimore.
