And what are we going to do about it? This media will determine this election unless we are active FAST.

Until we all are protesting in front of every CNN,ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Fox affiliate in every city, every day handing out REAL news articles, NOTHING changes!

If you watch CNN, you will see that when they speak of Trump, they almost always have a stacked panel of uncontested rebutting leftists, 1 loud feminine woman, and the Trump supporter is usually via video feed. Now that’s what I call one sided new coverage.

When the Bush Admin. fired 8 Federal DAs you would have thought it was a major crime listening to the Dem morons and Public Enemy #1. All fake news to print and hear.

I recall Billy Toon fired all 52 Federal DAs in 1993.

WHAT IS ANYONE DOING TO COMBAT THE MEDIA???

About all we can do as individuals is boycott them, boycott their sponsors, and try to hit them in the wallet. However I suspect this will have minimal effect as they will gladly LOSE GREAT BIG BUCKETS of MONEY in order to maintain their power and political influence.

If we can get Trump in there he could potentially use antitrust law and the FCC to bust-up the companies which currently hold near-monopolies. We will have to be ready with capital to pick-up the pieces and repurpose them to a new message.

He could also (and this would really upset doctrinaire Conservatives) fire EVERYBODY at NPR and PBS, and repurpose those with a Conservative message. This could be done relatively quickly, and would have the added effect of sending the Left into immediate shock.

Aside from that, anything we can do as individuals would be ethically and morally problematic. Make sure individuals who are in the media receive the Megyn Kelly treatment wherever they go in society. And worse.

Yes it is... The media is now deciding who will be our POTUS through deception not the American people.

That is how Obama got elected. That is how Bill Clinton got elected. The media refused to report on their offensive behavior and corruption.

And through this manipulation of elections, they have changed the makeup of the Federal courts.

They have much damage and much blood for which they need to be made to answer.

He did. And the defense of that act was quite vociferous.

I’m aware of some (not all) laws regarding libel and slander, after years as an ink-stained wretch. I think there might be an opening here.

The ultimate defense in a libel case, at least we were told when I took Journalism Ethics, is the truth. It ain’t libel if it’s true. (Libel is for printed falsehoods; slander is for spoken.)

In too many cases today, people take Freedom of the Press as an absolutely right, which it is not. If Freedom of Speech is a “qualified” right (the crowded theater thing) then so too is Press.

I think Donald Trump would be well-served by having a squadron of lawyers ready to pounce at the next falsehood told about him. Some might accuse him of being a wimp, or hiding behind his lawyers, but I think a few high-profile libel or slander cases might help level the playing field. Once such a suit is filed, I believe injunctions can be sought against offending news outlets, which would cause a few ripples.

Until then, I’d be happy to see Trump eject assorted news heads from his next rally. Accuse them of point-blank lying about him, then throw their manicured asses out.

True Americans hate the press and what they’re obviously trying to do to Donald Trump. Make them pay for lying, or repeating somebody else’s lie.

But the media does more damage by what they cover up than by what they report. Take Idiot Obama for example.

The media absolutely CREATED OBAMA. Without them he is practically a cardboard cutout.

There’s not a whole lot that can be done. As long as party unity is still an issue and as long as the media controls the airwaves, the only thing Trump can do at this point is to think before he speaks and when he speaks, try to sound like he knows more about a particular subject than just one or two sentences.

BTW, I strongly believe the stacked panels on CNN are a direct result of the Clinton Campaign demanding such a format behind the scenes.

Actually correction: Trump can send a wave of prominent supporters to the News outlets to request to speak on his behalf. Once the Media refuses to give them Air time, then run political Ads that highlight this with the central message being, the Media can’t be trusted to tell the whole story.

“But the media does more damage by what they cover up than by what they report. Take Idiot Obama for example. The public doesn’t know about his corrupt background.”

Exactly! The mindless LIV sheeple who buy into all the media propaganda are completely unaware of anything about Obama other than what the talking heads have told them. Worse, if anyone dares to question anything about Obama’s or now Hillary’s background, the media ridicules them, setting the example for those who are victims of the media propaganda.

I’d be willing to bet that if people en masse started to boycott all cable ‘news’, that the propaganda machine would start giving cable ‘news’ away for free. They’d forego their profits to ensure the propaganda continues to be piped into every household that will accept it.

It’s plain and simple, Trump is going to have to run attack Ads against the Media with highlights showing their Bias.

He might have to ignore Hillary altogether and just concentrate on running Ads attacking Media Bias.

Keep on preaching that crucial message! I've been doing it for the past 30 years but have been met with yawns, condescending smiles and smirks etc. No one wants to engage in difficult ideas these days.

Totalitarians have always prioritized the takeover of education and the media. The first people executed in any totalitarian takeover are dissidents of any sort, usually in the media. Over my long lifetime I've observed numerous media crackdowns: Argentina, Venezuela, Cuba, China, North Korea, the Soviet Union, Germany, etc.

In he U.S. the process has been gentler and more incremental. It began back in the 1950s with Leftist takeover of the nation's journalism schools. The major electronic media had previously been pretty much Leftist/Marxist infiltrated by the end of WWII and the Vietnam conflict accelerated the process.

The big change, when the media began to take overtly partisan sides, came with the Whitewater affair. The mission of young J-school graduates suddenly was to mimic Woodward and Bernstein in their anti-conservative zeal. They began to see their role as Utopian change agents rather than truth tellers.

I recall an exchange I had with the idiot editor of our local paper who told me his mission as a journalist was "to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable." That's a total perversion of the traditional journalistic role of protecting the citizens from government corruption and dictatorial power.

Many people have died over the centuries to protect the role of the press as defined in our Constitution. I have the feeling rot has set in so deeply now that such sacrifices may again be needed to restore the proper balance.

I’m in total agreement.

One way to start is here on FR.

We should never post a bs oped/editorial/article by the mediots as an important post.

Only post them as another example of the dangerous lies/bs the mediots are spewing out to defeat Trump by discouraging our voters.
