I don’t think the TV Mr Rogers was ever in combat. Nor was Trump.
I’m not some pansy cowering before Trump’s aggressive style. I found many of his personal attacks on other candidates dishonest and repulsive, and I find his liberalism hard to deal with - I don’t like voting for someone who recently approved of Hillary, Obama and DeBlasio. Trump s very happy with a much bigger government than I want, and I can remember - back in the Bill Clinton days - when Freepers thought infidelity indicated dishonesty.
But he isn’t Hillary. He doesn’t actively hate everything I love. He doesn’t hate America. He doesn’t like watching business chased overseas by our business-hating government, and he doesn’t want to bring in millions of freedom-hating socialists looking for handouts. He also understands that Islam is not “just a religion”, and bringing in millions of Muslims is destructive to freedom and America.
I have low expectations for a Trump presidency. I think he’ll promote a much bigger and much more liberal government than I want. I also believe it is every patriot’s duty to get out as many votes for him as possible, because he’s running against Hillary Clinton.
I don’t think the polls are lying. He’s under attack from the media, he has been responding badly, and a lot of Americans no longer believe in freedom or work or God. If you think Trump is a shoe-in who will sweep the vote effortlessly, you are looking at a different America and different race than what I’m seeing.
Who you voting for?
“I have low expectations for a Trump presidency. I think hell promote a much bigger and much more liberal government than I want.”
The RNC platform under Trump, with Trump getting what he wanted, is the most conservative republican platform in history. Hannity was talking about it the other night.
