She said that she decided to leave the auditorium on her own because “it’s the considerate thing to do for others around, trying to listen or for those presenting,” adding that “it was blatantly obvious he was joking.” She said she stood with the police officers outside the auditorium, who were very kind to her, and then returned to her seat once her child had calmed down.
“I had a wonderful time and I appreciate Trump’s graciousness during a time that is usually considered stressful,” she said. “His comic relief was a breath of fresh air.”
The Pinocchio Test
Trump has been unfairly maligned here. We can see why some reporters ran with this tale, based only on the videotape, but it’s good example of why everything must be checked out.
We’ve given Trump many Pinocchios over the course of the campaign but he earns a Geppetto Checkmark for getting at least this story right.

This lady did the Right thing for the Right reason. Parents should be aware in shopping centers and in movie theatres, Museums and in other public venues. As a parent I used to regularly carry my child outside and into the car when he decided he was going to start making noise. Primarily because I did not want to ‘Inflict’ my children into their entertainment.
It’s just the polite thing to do.
Either that or the onslaught of the past two weeks has backfired and they are worried that a very pissed off at the COMPOSTSLIMESPMSNBCHuffandPost might not have an in with the new administration.

I watched the clip of this. Trump was very, very polite.
The damage is done. The media got what it was looking for.
The media doesn’t care. Millions of people will go to their graves believing it, just as many think Palin said she could see Russia from her office.
