I agree about alone. But at 75 years old, I have had too many loyal friends screw me over for some of the most insignificant things. I will work with others but I will not expose my security to random neighbors.
If things go so far south that we are in armed enclaves, my wife and I will have little chance of survival, but I will not go quietly into the night.
