Why some whites are waking up to racism

And watching all these videos (coupled with black flash mobs, knockout game, etc.) is turning a LOT of whites, asians, native americans, Indians, Arians, Arabs, etc. into racists against blacks.

That's not racism; it's self preservation.

The non-white people here in Maine live basically the same lives as the white population.

I’ve seen several black employees at my local WalMart....they, like their white counter-parts, work hard and are friendly to the customers.

Portland, in southern Maine, is a sanctuary city and is a somewhat different story. It’s more like a miniature version of Boston; BLM protestors, some clashing with the police; muzzie demonstrators, etc.

There have been BLM protests elsewhere in Maine, but the participants are usually young white liberals.

Lewiston has a large population of Somalis, but they seem to stay there; I’ve never seen any in Eastern Maine; maybe I don’t get out enough.

My local TV stations always air the booking photos of individuals who get arrested. There are drug dealers from New York City, Connecticut, Massachusetts, etc. getting arrested, and in their booking photos, they are overwhelming black.

That confirms (sort’a) my contention that CULTURE rather than race is the defining factor in behavior.

Because that was made by a black leader, there is probably no more indicting comment made about black culture than that.

Then he realized there a was lot more money to be made by blaming Whitey.

I spoke with both my sons on how to deal properly with police officers and the dangers. Sir ‘em, do exactly what they say to do immediately and shut your big mouth until you have a lawyer. They are tricky and not your pals. I’m white.

All responsible parents who are paying attention, warn their children about police officers. We are not in Kansas anymore.

Thanks, but I pretty much know how.

Over the years, I gotten out of at least a dozen traffic tickets that I should have gotten, including the last 3 times that I was stopped.

Every body appreciates a little respect and honesty.

I figured out early on when I was a kid that most of the racism and crime was coming from those special minorities that are always crying racism.
