We have a winner!
If it was a straightforward step in carrying out an agreement, it wouldn’t have been pallet-loads of printed currency done in secret.
But it’s clear that the money was under control of the Executive Branch, another example of Congress looking the other way for questionable Administration practices.
And probably there was some resistance from Washington insiders who have no doubt been using Iranian escrow money as a slush fund.
