Khizr Khan: Trump's advisers should get him in a room and 'set him right'
The Washington Times ^ | August 1, 2016 | David Sherfinski

Khizr Khan, the father of Capt. Humayun Khan, a Muslim-American soldier killed in Iraq in 2004, is asking GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's advisers to get him in a room, close the door, and "set him right."

"Every decent Republican has rebuked his behavior, yet nobody had stood up and said, 'Enough. Stop it. You will not be our candidate,' " Mr. Khan said of Mr. Trump.

Speaking on CNN's "New Day" Monday, Mr. Khan pointed to House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, both of whom issued statements praising Capt. Khan.
.
.
.
Sen. John McCain of Arizona, who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam, issued a statement Monday saying he hopes Americans understand that Mr. Trump's remarks do not represent the views of the Republican party, its officers or its candidates.

Trump did not once mention Khan during his rallies yesterday. It is the media who is doing its best to keep this thing going. It's Journ0lism 2008 all over again. If you want to have further proof of that read this piece from a Breitbart (real) journalist who published the Khan background story:

‘I Was Just Joking’: Media Apoplectic as Khizr Khan Attack on Donald Trump Goes Down in Flames

Now the media is in a bit of a bind. Shall they continue with the Khan story (which is getting a bit stale) or shall they clutch their pearl necklaces and start hyperventialting about the fact that Trump callled Hillary "the Devil" yesterday.

Trump on the other hand has left Khan behind. He wrote in his last tweet about this affair that it is not about Mr Khan or his family, it is about how and whether or not the US shall defend itself against radical islamic terrorism.

Trump advisors should just let Trump be Trump.

Yep, anytime they can focus on a side issue and not their disasterous nominee is a win for them...

If Khan really gave a rat’s patootie about the Constitution he wouldn’t be supporting Hillary in the first place.

But you are talking about comparison... The MSM will isolate this out, they won’t even mention Hillary at all. They show parents of a hero, Trump irrationally attacking the mom, and voila. He looks bad. Every last RINO steps up to disassociate themselves from Trump one by one ...

The Democrats are much more Soviet. Contrast Sanders and Cruz. Cruz lost a fair fight but whined like a baby - Sanders lost by complete fraud yet kissed up to Hillary like a servant (did he ever even hope to win?).

God help this country.

Mr. Khan needs to sit down and be quiet.

Complete the grieving process for his son.

Get some dignity.

Has Melania suffered yet for plagerizing Moochelle’s speech from 2008?

What’s taking them so long?

Where are the parents of the 13 soldiers murdered by a Muslim doctor who killed them at Ft. Hood, a US Army base where they could not be armed? Those parents should be honored for their sacrifice, being shot by a traitor who was known to be a militant Muslim, “soldier of Allah,” but was being employed by the U.S. government because of political correctness. Trump ought to fight fire with fire and mention this horrendous betrayal of these American parents by this government.

Very important observation. This is one of the reasons Clinton must never win. Whatever faulty and dangerous policies she will follow the Democrats in the Congress and in media will always acquiesce to her. We have seen even the Law enforcement agencies and the Judiciary do that to Candidate Clinton.

Under a Clinton presidency there will be no separation of powers.

Follow the rationale.

If Khan’s criticism is based upon the loss of his son:

-Hillary voted for the Iraq war, Trump didn’t.

-The democrats cut Iraq OCO funds in 2007 necessitating the withdrawal of US troops and the ascendency of ISIS, wasting his son’s sacrifice.

-The democrats permitted the very terrorists who killed his son to fill the vacuum and attack the region.

Or is Khan’s criticism based upon Trump’s threat to his business?

-Khan is an immigration attorney specializing in Muslim immigrants and ‘pay for citizenship’ services.

-Khan supports Sharia in America.

-Khan is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood and the Clinton Foundation.

Follow the money, Khan is.

I agree, Trump’s advisers *should* take Khizr Khan into a room and “set him right.”

It is absolutely ludicrous that Khan should be attacking someone who had nothing whatsoever to do with his son’s death. Especially in light of the fact that he is using these attacks to actively support someone who was key in destabilizing the Middle East.

Since Mr. Kahn is a spokesman for moose limbs some “journalist” might ask him to confirm the sex slave thing.
