PHILADELPHIA — For four days here in this city of brotherly love and the nation’s founding, Democrats wrapped themselves in the language of patriotism and positivity, declaring the country would be “stronger together” as they nominated Hillary Clinton to serve as the first woman president.
“Love trumps hate,” came the cheers from the crowd, only days after Donald Trump’s Republican convention echoed with chants of “Lock her up!”
But as the 102-day general election starts, the reality is that both parties, saddled with two of the most unpopular presidential nominees ever, are bracing for one of the ugliest and most divisive races in modern history. And with Trump’s penchant for the unpredictable, a contest that has already stretched the boundaries of traditional American political discourse is unlikely to become more civil.

They'll go after the family, and they'll shriek if Trump retaliates. But this time they can shriek all they want, it isn't going to matter. The MSM lock on discourse is over.
Scream: "First Woman in Congress was a Republican".
THIS is the election for the first time since Reagan when the international cabal has not owned the candidate on either side. Usually, they sit back, push for the Dem as they are either already in the tank or will be soon enough, but they let the “little American people” play the lib / conservative game, not caring who actually wins because they’ve stacked the deck on both sides.
THIS TIME they actually have something to fear. Trump won’t be bought. He won’t play. And they aren’t crazy about his veep. Which is good life insurance.
THEY WILL BE TRYING TO DO ANYTHING, ANYTHING, to have Hillary win. She is so compromised that she is their dream president. Sick, lesbian, criminal. She is so in the bag.
I am so stressed, packing up my house to move on Monday, so many wrinkles in the plans as usual.... Came on FR for a mini break.

(And I do know some young Bernie supporters who are at least considering Trump - they say that voting stein means supporting trump so they are willing to check out my insistence that the media is trying to trick them into thinking trump is a racist when his life proves beyond a doubt that he is not. Bernie people are RIPE to believe the media are lying.)
