It looked to me like Kaine was holding her hand when going up the stairs, but that it was more to assist her physically than just part of the campaign imagery. Its something to keep an eye on.

As an interesting aside,I wrote my comment using a Kindle HDX Fire with an 8.5” screen. It’s really quick and handy. Unfortunately, it has a,horribly aggressive net nanny auto spell. For example, it took me four tries to get it to allow “gorked”, which it tried constantly to change to “forked” or other innocuous words. Indeed, it tried to make that change now.
It sure wouldn’t dig my spelling - lol
It’s as though a particularly sensitive female third grade teacher, thoroughly hated by all the boys in her class, was hired to come up with a list of every word she thought “offensive” and Amazon installed her entire mental hot flash into the machine.
