A man driving a dump truck rammed through a security gate of the FBI Headquarters on the South Side Tuesday, an FBI spokesman said.
The driver was injured and transported to a hospital, but no one else was hurt, said Special Agent Greg Heeb. The ramming was intentional, he said, but the motive of the driver aren't clear yet.
“We're investigating it now with the Pittsburgh police,” he said.
Police have identified the driver but haven't released his identity yet, Heeb said.
Police stopped the driver on Carson Street after he ran several red lights, Heeb said. The driver said something to the officer and then “he took off and went right through the gate,” he said.
We have Mennonites and Quakers up here, they are my neighbors.
This feeble attempt at sarcasm is frustrating and obnoxious. It dilutes properly focusing the blame on the murdering rapists, which is the only place it belongs.

I think his intent was quite clear, and won’t be surprised if they find out that he yelled something about Al’s Snackbar before the crash.
Or maybe not... maybe he was trying to determine if the local Agents had switched over to Glocks yet. Hope he gets to find out.

I assume that the moron writing the piece meant to say
“but the motives of the driver aren’t clear”.
The agreement in number would be dependent upon the noun “motives” and not “driver”.
I am not too impressed with the quality of that gate.
Like I said, if you’ve seen that building in person and tried something anyway, you were either drunk or extremely stupid.
It was specifically designed to resist truck bombs after the OKC bombing. Impressively I might add. Even a layman could see that’s a fools errand.
My guess now is the driver had issues with pharmaceuticals.
