Matthews Rips Benghazi Victim’s Mother: 'I Don’t Care What That Woman Up There … Has Felt'

MSNBC host Chris Matthews slammed the Republican National Convention speech Monday by the mother of one of the four killed in Benghazi, saying he didn’t "care what that woman up there, the mother, has felt."

While he praised the RNC address by "Lone Survivor" Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, he sharply criticized the remarks by Patricia Smith calling Hillary Clinton a liar who deserved to be in prison. Her son Sean Smith perished in the 2012 terrorist attack, and Clinton’s handling of the ordeal and subsequent deceit about its causes as secretary of state have plagued her ever since.

"This gross accusation that somehow Hillary Clinton had anything to do with the death of Chris Stevens … She had nothing to do with it," Matthews said. "Worst-case scenario, she didn’t gave a straight story afterwards."

Actually Michael Brown’s and Trayvon’s mother appearing, may help get votes for Trump. In that, the Democrats are doubling down on this horse blank that police are using black men for target practice.

I think it’s odd that Trayvon and Michael Brown became poster boys for all of this Black Lives Matter business.

Reason being, it appears to many of us, that each got what he had coming; that each one triggered what happened to them by their own actions.

And consider the legal status. Zimmerman was acquitted in his trial. The charges were trumped up to start with. Remember that it wasn’t the local DA who brought charges against Zimmerman. It was a special prosecutor appointed by the Republican governor of Florida who brought charges, and set up Zimmerman’s trial.

In Michael Brown’s case, after a lengthy investigation, which included interference by Obama’s Justice Dept henchmen into the investigation by local officials, there was found to be no cause for an indictment in the death of Michael Brown.

But we know that facts don’t matter to the liberals. The fact that these cases were settled legally, and that there was found to be no cause for federal civil rights violation charges, is simply ignored by the Black Lives Matter idiots.

But I’m sure Chris Mathews and his pals in the MSNBC booth at the convention will shed crocodile tears for these mothers. It will be a completely opposite reaction to their reactions to the GOP convention events.

Among the names of speakers were Gwen Carr, the mother of Eric Garner; Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin; and Lezley McSpadden, the mother of Michael Brown, which Democrats have dubbed, “Mothers of Movement” for their activism after the death of their sons.
