Clinton's campaign manager: Russia helping Trump
CNN ^ | Eric Bradner

Posted on 07/24/2016 6:56:33 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Hillary Clinton's campaign manager is alleging that Russian hackers are leaking Democratic National Committee emails critical of Bernie Sanders in an effort to help Donald Trump win the election in November. It comes on the heels of "changes to the Republican platform to make it more pro-Russian," Robby Mook told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" Sunday.

"I don't think it's coincidental that these emails were released on the eve of our convention here, and I think that's disturbing," he said.

The DNC has previously had its files hacked by an individual named "Guccifer 2.0" that may have had ties to the Russians.

Hackers stole opposition research on Donald Trump from the DNC's servers in mid-June. Two separate Russian intelligence-linked cyberattack groups were both in the DNC's networks.

Mook pointed to Trump's position on NATO -- that he wouldn't necessarily assist allies who haven't contributed enough financially to the organization -- and argued that position would aid Russia in Eastern Europe, as well.

"I think when you put all this together, it's a disturbing picture, and voters need to reflect on that," Mook said.

Donald Trump Jr., the son of the Republican nominee, bashed Mook's comments later on "State of the Union." "It just goes to show you their exact moral compass. I mean they'll say anything to be able to win this. This is time and time again, lie after lie," Trump Jr. told Tapper. "It's disgusting. It's so phony. I watched him bumble through the interview."

I don't know if Russia is involved or not, but I do know that it would be a mistake for Trump to allow himself to be associated with Russia and Putin. Putin is an enemy of the American people. We shouldn't forget that he is the one who provided the missiles that were used to shoot down an airliner full of innocent men, women and children. His drunken friends then looted the crash site.

Putin is an incompetent dictator and no American politician should be associated with him in any way. Anyone who tries to associate Trump with Putin is no friend to Trump.

What i “think is disturbing” is the 40% of voters who will accept what Clinton says is true without requiring them to have a smidgen of evidence.

So what?

China helped Billy Clinton and in return got software to make their missiles more accurate, plus nuclear technology and favorable trade deals.

China also favors Hillary.

Maybe the Russian hackers aren’t under Putin’s control any more than us hackers are under Obama’s control...and maybe, just maybe, those Russian hackers don’t wish to see World War 3 in their lifetimes and view Donald Trump as a much more sane and level-headed president then Clinton?

Or, more likely, this is sheer desperation on the part of Hillary’s campaign.

Hitlery’s infamous “reset” button actually had the Russian word for “Overcharge” printed on it.

The entire MSM is in the satchel for Hillary/the Dems, and they’re whining about Wikileaks?

SMH.

Mook plagiarized this claim from Bill Kristol. Or maybe the other way around. Let’s investigate the plagiarism charge!!

The fact that Hillary’s only opponent was Bernie Sanders should have been obvious that the election was going to be rigged. People are surprised by these leaks?

Wikileaks denies that Russia was it’s source and threatens legal action if that assertion is positively made. According to Wikileaks no one knows who our sources are.

It’s come to strange days indeed when we’ve seen the Russians become less of a threat to us and our way of life than the Democrats have shown themselves to be.

Went to bed one night (admittedly a little drunk), and woke up in Bizzaro World, evidently...

Strange days, indeed...

If you call exposing your corruption that Romney and McCain cared nothing about, even though it was painfully obvious, then yeah Russia is helping Trump.

However, seeing that Hillary, Bill and obama got campaign contributions from foreign governments, I think they better be careful about this accusation; Russia is not giving Trump any money.

"I think when you put all this together, it's a disturbing picture, and voters need to reflect on that," Mook said.

I think voters have reflected plenty over the past 8 years, not to mention all the disturbing images of Hag out there to burn our retinas.

Which only proves that P.T. Barnum seriously overestimated the intelligence of the American public.

-- What's more disturbing is that no one at the DNC knows how to setup a firewall on their network. --

How did the hacker get in? I'm not sure a firewall would have helped, maybe the access port had to be open, and the hacker just figured out a name and password that got him in.

Truly curious, I have no idea how this breach was accomplished.

If Russia is helping Trump it’s just more proof of Hillarys failure as Sec of State and especially the Russia reset button.
