what a crock of crap. We were actually watching the NPR feed for part of that night and also for Ivanka speech. Their clothes were complimented in fact the NPR lady said about Ivanka that she loved she was wearing white or some such. After Melania spoke they were speechless. they had nothing prepared that they could say. The one guy managed to say it was too bad she had no (funny)stories or anecdotes about life with Donald. But then the younger woman defended her somewhat- you could tell she was totally starstruck by Melania, and that created a big problem in her little liberal brain.
