Ivanka Trump is usually seen as the cool, calm and collected Trump, a quality that has been put to good use in her father's presidential campaign.
But at the Republican convention on Wednesday night the daughter of Donald Trump appeared uncharacteristically angry as Texas Sen. Ted Cruz took the stage and refused to endorse her father.
Ivanka was photographed frowning and pointing her finger as Cruz, her father's fiercest rival in the primary, told Republican voters at the convention to "vote your conscience, vote for candidates up and down the ticket who you trust to defend our freedom and to be faithful to the Constitution."

There were never any attacks on Heidi or his dad. He retweeted a picture and answered some questions which many would like the know the rest of the story. Nice try though.

I suspected there was a change because you could see the fury in the Trumps...like they expected something else.

As Governor Huckabee so lucidly stated, you don’t accept an invitation to somebody’s party and then pee in the punchbowl. Huckabee also said Cruz hoped to “drop his mike on the stage but dropped his pants instead”.
Cruz is a gargoyle of a narcissistic sociopathic personality who places his own ambition ahead of the very survival of America whose destruction is imminent if Hillary is ever elected.
Compared to Cruz, Rubio was all class. He supported Trump and clearly enunciated the looming threat from Obama’s impending third term if Trump is NOT elected.

I keep seeing and hearing about Trump’s attacks on Heidi and Cruz’s dad. Could you tell me exactly what those were? And possibly provide a link that shows Mr. Trump’s actual words or actions?
It amazes me that Cruz made an unconditional promise and then discovered unstated conditions later on. That’s not kosher at all.

I suspect unhappy. But which came first? The chicken (Heidi) or the egg (Melania in a modeling pose)? I think Ivanka will be able to better rein in her father’s natural tendencies to retaliate against his enemies as his campaign progresses. If she cannot, he will have a tougher time winning as, I am sure, the Dems will bait him and bait him and bait him to get him to lose his temper or strike out in a childish fashion. The way I see it, the Cruz campaign has not been dissimilar to the Trump campaign. I was a Cruzer to begin with, but now I am a Trumper. NEVERHILLARY.

I don’t know, when did Trump attack Heidi? All he put out was a graphic showing how much hotter his wife is than Ted’s after Ted’s supporters ran a add campaign calling his wife a slut. Cruz’s Dad ran around for months saying that Trump would destroy America. So screw them and screw you.

I don’t think either one is particularly nasty or even an attack. Hell, a SuperPAC related to the Cruz campaign released the Melania Trump pic that baited Trump. Before then, the two had not really attacked each other.
Cruz is persona non grata now. I’m with Rush in thinking it is far too early to discount his entire political future, but he certainly did it no favors. Politics is a tough sport. Sanctimony and hurt feelings don’t play well.
I hope it’s more then that. I hope he is primaries in 2018. Good news is the republicans who puts their name in the hat probably can in 2017 when the situation will still be very much in the minds of Texans. The worst is he embarrassed his state.
I believe Ted’s behavior explains why police found Heidi sitting on an expressway with her head in her hands 10 years ago. The officer thought she was a “danger to herself.”
The reason why is because Ted thinks he’s all-knowing. He would drive anyone crazy to be around all the time — just ask his fellow senators. I can understand Heidi’s breakdown.
Ted’s own SuperPAC FIRST sent out a picture of Mrs’s Trump. Ted did not disavow that action (he has no authority over his SuperPAC, but can legally state he disavows what they do).
Trump DEFENDED his family by merely tweeting SOMEONE ELSE’S comparison picture.
The National Enquirer posted the pic of Oswald and Cruz’s-father-look-alike. Cruz’s father WAS CAMPAIGNING FOR COMMUNISM AT THAT TIME.
Both actions by Trump were wholesome.

I do not know but I do know she said she was not happy about the Cruz attack on her stepmother that led to the battle.
Don’t be a drive by poster. Quote exactly what Trump said about Heidi that comprised as “attack.” Provide a link. Quote the terrible attack Trump levied against Rafael Sr. How does it compare to smarmy Cruz suggesting Trump might not be eligible to be POTUS because his American citizen mother was born in Scotland?
