The lefties couldn’t deliver on their promise for huge, violent protests in Cleveland, so I doubt they will organize a coup.
Democrats and their news media will do everything to sabotage a Trump presidency. The question is will Trump be able to overcome it? Bush failed in his second term.

What this really is is Hillary’s basic plan for total control (a la Turkey under Erdogon) cleverly masquerading as an anti-Trump piece for maximum publicity so her supporters are prepared for the Great Hillary Revolution.
Add to that the fact that Lefties hate guns while folks on the Right have been purchasing firearms and ammo in record amounts the last several years—Any “coup” would be very short-lived.
Note, though, that violence is the default response when Libs don’t get their way.

The military would turn on the CiC because a pack of leftist lib-ruls tells them his saving the Republic from socialists/communists/third world illegals/islamics/anti-Americans is somehow illegal?

The idea that metrosexual leftists at the LA Times think they can organize a military coup against a President Trump is just HILARIOUS to me.
It shows how little understanding of the real world they have.
And except for a smattering of of these quislings, who are more concerned about drag queens being able to use the girls' bathroom than protecting the country, the mass of the enlisted troops are are patriotic young Americans who want to serve their country.
If they didn't rise up and strike a coup against Obama, they sure won't do it for a Republican who actually stands for what they believe in.

If Obama transforms the military the way he wants they won’t be able to stop Trump. Swinging purses (no guns allowed) is not going to make for a successful coup as long as we have 2a.
If Obama doesn’t complete the transformation, there’s no way the military will want Trump out. He has decades of history listening to experts (i.e. generals, diplomats, etc in this case) People do not change after decades of consistent behavior. The military will be very happy to have Trump listening to military leaders and letting them do their job.
And THERE we have the modus operandi of the entire unhinged fascist 0bamster-Klintoon Left as well as the treacherous Bush-Kasick Cabal.
Does anyone believe, during the past 8 years, if a ‘Conservative’ news source had suggested a coup against the Obama Admin, that everyone connected to the station wouldn’t be arrested by the DO(in)J? More lawlessness by the Looney Left!

They are making some valid points. Imagine the following litany of horrors at the hands of a Trump presidency.
1) Peaceful streets
2) A president that does not rule by fiat
3) A budget problem that is seriously tackled
4) Equal justice before the law and equal application of the law to all
5) An administration that does not view its role as changing American society from above
And so on. Dear God, how could one stand to live in such a nightmare?
Remember how in ‘79 they said Reagan was going to start WW3.

Well, that’s idiot. Like the military and police are going to turn on the only candidate they can trust to improve their image and role in society. I’m sure Trump could see his way to do an Erdogan and flush out any disloyal elements, which would most likely be at the very top of the command structure where the globalist fascist oligarchs have their NATO interface.
If she wins a coup would be an understatement.
I say there will be a coup if he doesn’t.
