With just one speech, Pence has managed to endear himself to the Party. Trump has said he wants a VP he knows can take over if need be and he found one. If Trump gets in and manages either one or two terms, it will be Pence, and not Cruz, next up to bat. And he came this far without having to endure the primary.

Not all, you have to convince those committed to Cruz who are hard core conservatives. When you keep attacking a finished candidate you make it harder to change minds, they will either sit home or write in Cruz. You get more with a little honey, (stop the attacks) than with a sledge hammer approach. Then you get the WITCH!

Promote the positive very Pro-Life platform that this convention has adopted. We haven’t seen one this strong in ages. Getting rid of DUMBOS appointees, rebuilding our Military, getting rid of Commie Core, and EPA regs that have shuttered coal mines and cost jobs. Jobs for Americans not illegals.

Was Cruz thinking about 2020 not 2016.Is that why he didn't endorse? How does that unite the Republican Party.Sad and Selfish

Texas voters will decide that, we have no say. Let it drop and let Texas voters take care of it.

You can carry things to far and alienate potential voters who don’t make up their minds to early as it seems to be a vendetta.

Having watched political conventions since 1972, this was definitely the most fast-paced one I’ve seen with prime time speakers popping out of the wings in rapid fire succession, one after th other.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. There really should be bigger pauses after the really powerful speakers so that the crowd can keep the energy going.

It was a shame that Darrel Scott's speech didn't get time to sink in - instead another speaker was announced before he even left the floor.

Another sub-moron Cruzer on Hannity now, claiming that Cruz gave a great speech and the only problem was he didn’t endorse Trump... as if all that other political BS MATTERED! ARRRRRGGHHHH.

If Hillary is the winner, we can stock up on survival supplies.

And that's not even a joke, either.

Some don’t consider cheating on your wife as a Conservative value. If his wife cannot trust him why should anyone else? Course all of his big supporters have trophy wives too.

Pray America wakes

THE HILL

July 21, 2016, 12:04 pm

The poll was conducted from July 18 to 20 and surveyed 500 likely voters via phone. The margin of error was 4.4 points.

Poll: Trump, Clinton tied in battleground of Ohio

The Suffolk University survey found Clinton and Trump tied at 44 percent, with 11 percent of voters still undecided.

The survey was released on the last day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, hours before Trump will officially accept the GOP presidential nomination.
