Heidi Cruz, wife of Texas Senator Ted Cruz, was reportedly rushed out of the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night after the crowd turned on her husband at the end of his speech.
Boos rained down on Ted Cruz as he issued a speech calling for people to vote on their "conscience" and declining to officially endorse Donald Trump, despite loud calls for him to do so from the crowd.
With her is Ken Cuccinelli, the former attorney general of Virginia, who has also been firmly anti-Trump.
Cuccinelli reportedly confirmed to journalists that he helped Heidi Cruz leave the scene after the speech out of concern for her safety.

Dana Bash of CNN reports that Cruz entered a donor suite at the arena after the speech, and was told, to his face, that he was a “disgrace.” One man was so angry at Cruz that he had to be “physically restrained,” and Heidi Cruz had to be escorted from the convention floor because of heckling by Trump delegates.”
I wish the guy had gotten a piece of Turd Cruz, him leaving the donor area with a black eye would be great visual since all he’s done is give this election a black eye.

Cruz went into the campaign as the clear constitutional conservative and exceeded the expectations of many including his supporters. He leaves the campaign as a narcissistic loser who immolated himself in front of the world tonight, but (like Beck) he will never see it that way.
What a total lack of humility. Like others have said - it is now easy to see why those who have to work with him dislike him.

CNN and the Tapper gang is saying that Cruz committed career suicide tonight. This was the ultimate culmination in him destroying his career and proving he’s a LIAR.
