Welcome back, La Diva!
And a very belated welcome to Arizona. We love it here, too.

Well, Du and Kathy, eyes are the issue now. Warm eye packs, an ointment on the upper eye lid. Helps a little at first.

Sounds like the Indians may have arrived in that area around this time of year - monsoon season. :-)

I hope y’all were lucky enough to get some rain this afternoon because you could use it.

You know I’m jealous, though, don’cha? LOL! Nothing like a good thunderstorm to admire.

Well pooey, feathers. Don’t know which is worse for you - - the eyes or the knees. Neither is a good thing to have out of whack. :-(

Just during our summer months but you get used to it. This is a fascinating and wondrous state! I experienced a “haboob,” saw in the local news a recent microburst, we have a monsoon season and we do have a winter season and it snows up north and in Tucson! Cacti have edible flowers and then some, there are pine trees in Flagstaff, rattlesnake tastes good like chicken, the views are gorgeous, and people are wonderful! Took a survival class with the famous Cody Lundin in 2009 and learned about “high desert.” So much to explore so little time.

WOW! Those haboobs look nasty. Wouldn’t want to be out in the open.

Cody Lundin...I think that’s one of the guys on the “Dual Survival” TV show.
