On second thought, why was Ted Cruz asked to speak at the convention at all?

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if the mic stopped working after Cruz’s first few words?

and invite us to join the fight against Hillary with support for Trump.

perhaps you might want to rethink asking for an invite to vote against Clinton...

your point about number, however, is solid; non college whites are going to have to turn out 20% better than they did for Romney, because every other demographic will recede from the Romney markers...

Yes. The ball is in Ted Cruz’s court. What he does with it
will define him as either a SORE LOSER or a MATURE
UNIFIER and a WORTHY LEADER.

I agree. Trump is being gracious, and it’s too bad Trump is rewarding bad behavior. :-(

Ted’s former supporters are welcome but not needed to win. Ted is not needed or wanted because his personality is repulsive to so many. Particularly Independents who are needed to win.

I have sincere doubts that Ted will even be reelected as a Senator.

[I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Cruz goes off script...]

I come to bury Trump, not to praise him”.

I don’t understand why Cruz was holding an independent rally in Cleveland to begin with?

Great timing of the plane, tho. And the helicopter landing was priceless!

“invite us to join the fight against Hillary with support for Trump.”

What would that invitation look like...maybe a conservative platform? Wait...that’s already been done. So you have your invitation, now take it to Ted.

Trump knows what is good for our country and if he has to let Cruz speak, he's the better person for doing so. He doesn't have to like it though.

Everyone has always understood that the Wall is part literal, part metaphor. Both.

Really? I don't see this as a "metaphor":

Trump Hotel - Chicago, IL photo image.jpg1_zpsoutixm7g.jpg

Trump builds these things all over the world along with 17 golf courses and the largest vineyard in VA. .

“Cruz can honor his word and endorse or not. And if anyone is more loyal to him than country than can F themselves too.”

Yup, bottom line.

Even of that is true about Reagan, Reagan wasn’t a liar and a back-stabber, sabotaging Ford’s campaign the way Cruz has done to Trump.

UNWIND! Talk about a hair-trigger!

Did I say Trump wasn’t going to build a wall???

The commitment to building the wall is a commitment to MORE than just building a wall.

“I wish people would start trying to respect Cruz and his supporters...”

Respect is earned.

The Cruzlims have a long way to go to regain the respect THEY ONCE HAD but lost due to their own behavior and rhetoric.

When the expression "Cruz/conservative appears, many of us hit the BS button.

 photo BU77HT-1.jpg

Why do some people continue to say Cruz is a "conservative?" The mantra is just the opposite of reality. Crus wants more immigrants to take America's jobs, he is pro TPP which is NAFTA on steroids, he's a habitual liar and manipulator.

Those are not "conservative" principles.

Do a search on "Cruz lies."

Yup. Up until the Iowa shenanigans and wedding with Beck, then Carly, then Kasick, most of us saw a Trump/Cruz ticket developing. It dissolved for obvious reasons and still cannot be substantiated since Cruz has still not honored his pledge. How can anyone respect someone who makes a pledge, and then respond to America by not honoring that pledge.
