I don’t know, I kind of think that Melania did it. There is a report this morning that the people who wrote the initial draft of the speech say what they submitted was very different and did not have the passages that were lifted from Michelle Obama’s speech.
Melania apparently didn’t graduate from college, despite claims to the contrary, so she may not have understood the ramifications of copying words verbatim from someone else.
And many people don’t understand that once something is on the internet, it lives there forever.
Melania is going to be a target for all sorts of irrational hate. These guys are like suicide bombers, so tearing down the entire power structure is counter-productive in a national campaign because these asshats are so pervasive in the political establishment.

That being said, I was a bit surprised to read that Trump Is considered to be a “tone deaf screw-up.” How can anyone who blew away the competition In the primaries be considered a screw-up. The author must have Trump confused with Jeb.
Another point...who remembers what was said in a speech 8 years ago. Who discovered the plagiarism - he found it pretty fast...conveniently fast.
Finally, it is known at this point who wrote the part of the speech that lifted from the wookie speech. I'm sure that person will be made to pay for their little prank.

I was annoyed yesterday and felt that the speech was purposely sabatoged as well and that the person ought be fired.
Now upon reflection I am coming to the conclusion and realization that it could have been a Trump family member who inadvertently and entirely by accident ended up including the Wookie snippet - or not - however:
