Melanea made a cookie cutter First Lady speech. I haven’t done this but I’m willing to bet that if you compare Moochelle’s speech to Laura Bush or Barbara Bush or Nancy Reagan you’ll hear similar themes similarly uttered.

Her speech was excellent and well-delivered. Nothing else matters.
It probably boils down to the same problem he had at the state conventions: lack of ground game and poor preparation. We all know the prospective first lady speech is boilerplate and has been basically the same speech every single time it’s been given for the last 200 years. BUT somebody should have done the ground work to make sure it didn’t sound too much like any recent rendition. I mean, I know in this focus grouped age when all movies are basically the same because they’re following the same book that dictates down to the second when events should happen it’s an easy trap to fall into, but somebody needs to have done the work, much like they needed to do the work on the delegate selection process. You’ve got to scrape the serial numbers off, especially in the internet age when most old speeches are one youtube search away. There’s a lack of detail orientation in this campaign.
I hear you. I would be surprised if that wasn’t the first thing that Trump did today.
This whole thing is RIDICULOUS..a few quotes that lasted what, 22 seconds compared to a 45 minute speech..now if the ENTIRE speech were word for word from Michelle Obama’s speech(Which by the way she did NOT write herself) then I can thing something underhanded happened but COME ON, everyone, from Presidential candidates to VP Candidates to potential first ladies all have speech writers who take little snippets from other speeches and blend it into their own speech..this is a whole bunch of nonsense..and really WHO CARES..it was a great speech and I enjoyed hearing it..this is all about taking the focus off of Guiliani’s speech and the Benghazi families speeches which were all GREAT and told the story of Hillary Clinton being a murdering b*tch
Thought I read somewhere that a former Clinton writer wrote Melania’s speech.

This is all just noise to distract from the hailstorm of negative facts about Hillary that were unleashed yesterday.

I think the difference is that Melania meant it and Moochelle knew it was a lie when she said it. I would not be very surprised to find it was done on purpose to contrast Trump and the liar in chief

Trump’s wife joins Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden as accused plagiarists. Even Michelle Obama was accused of plagiarizing part of her own 2008 DNC speech.
What a stupid thing to even hashtag. It assumes she did plagiarize.
It was one paragraph out of how many?? The point of the paragraph has appeared in every first lady’s speech for years. The words are very similar or same. The wording is similar or same, but the meaning is the same and they all have that paragraph. It is boiler plate language. There are only a small set of words you can use to make the same point.
It didn’t happen. These are phrases Melania’s used before, hardly some brilliant unique soundbite from Michelle.
Whole thing reminds of Rick Lazio. Hillary’s campaign went home that night and tore the debate apart word by word. They saw an opening with the “in her space” thing and put out the word to her media that night.
Next day, voila, story was everywhere, perfectly coordinated just like this speech crap.
Until we see a pattern, it’s just sloppy. And it happens all the time. The worst part is getting mired down in the news cycle.
The campaign needs to have better quality control so this doesn’t happen.
To quote Donald Rumsfeld, “there are knowns and there are unknowns, and there are unknowns we don’t know about” (paraphrased), this incident regarding Melania’s speech may in some ways be dismissed as inconsequential so far as the big picture is concerned, but the “unknowns that we don’t know about” are who, and how many of the subversive Cruzlims have infiltrated the Trump organization specifically and/or the Republican Party in general.
Those vile scumbags have only one purpose, which is to sabotage by any way possible, the Trump-Pence campaign. They believe that if they can somehow tilt the election in Hillary Rotten Criminal’s favor, that their boy Saint Teddy can come riding to the rescue 4 years later, just like Ronald Reagan rescued America from the 4 abysmal years of Jimmy Carter in 1980.
Hiliarly is NOT Carter (FAR worse), this is NOT 1980, and Ted Cruz is sure as Hell NOT Ronald Reagan. Never was, and never will be.
Trump and Manafort need to get to the bottom of this pronto because if such subversives will tamper with and insert plagiarizing material into Melania’s speech, what’s next?

The important thing that was in Melania’s speech was the love, the pride, the devotion of being a woman, of being a Mother, of being a wife, and most of all, being an American!!!
Hillary is low classed, she wouldn’t know ‘class’ if it slapped her in the face, she might have had a degree somewhere in her life, but the people Hillary has associated herself with over her life are low lives, classless idiots, scum of the earth, she has no thought in her head except her and only her...

Melania is class, she has grace, she has talent, she has poise and she speaks 5 different languages, can you just see her greeting foreign leaders to the White House in their native language...we haven’t seen that since Jackie O...
America loves Melania Trump and they love her husband and the Trump family...and because of that, America is going to be once again the Greatest Nation on Earth!!!
