It’s Erdogan (from a safe undisclosed location) that told citizens to take to the streets.
Now they are being gunned down, the Western press (like CBS already has) will act like the military is out of line.
Entirely expected. Remember, he left the Iranian people to rot when they were in the streets against the mullahs.
I suspect that the US has given the coup our blessing. But, we may never hear anyone admit it.
IF this coup fails then I think very dark days are ahead of us. This COUP must work.
If it fails then Turkey is likely lost. Prepare for a real war.

Not necessarily - if comrades and Muslim brothers Obrennan and OMuslim lose Erdogan, that’s a major hit to the CIA and SOF pipeline into Syria/ISIS.
