I think it is fascinating that she never retired so Obama could have appointed a replacement for her. Now she might retire under a Republican President. That is something.

I think she dislikes Obama as well[big club...lol].

Ginsburg is wanting to retire. She was hoping that a Clinton presidency, would enable her to retire. That would allow for her a liberal replacement. With Scalia out of the way, her retirement will stack the Supreme Court with two Lefties out of the same cloth as her. However, there is one problem. Trump is going to be the next President and that has Ginsburg in meltdown rage. She would rather die then let a conservative take her place.

One of the earmarks of the Left is they are stupid and lazy. They are not smart enough to hide their motivations. Collectivism is a lazy man’s place at the trough.

Nobody is pulling the strings of an ancient SC justice who has nothing to lose.

Everything is string pulling here :)

Pretty soon there will be no pullers and just pullees.

This hurts hillary, so maybe it Trump pulling the stings. Or Don Corleone.

Independents will be outraged and she could not sit in the SC if anything regarding the presidential race went up before them.

What she did was completely unethical and absolutely contrary to the non political purpose of the court, as far as I understand it.

If she doesn’t step down, she must recuse herself if there are any election disputes that end up in front of SCOTUS.

It’s an ethical violation.

Trump will be well within his rights to move that she recuse herself from any matter that should come befit pre SCOTUS in which he is a party.

I think she dislikes Obama as well

She has been photographed hugging Obama and smiling on multiple occasions. Apparently one of these photographs is on display in her chambers.

Some of the justices like to stay on the court until senility hits even if they may be taking a chance on not being replaced by a like-minded person. Maybe she gambled wrong.

She did two separate interviews in a week condemning Trump, so it isn’t one slip of the mouth.

How dare such a person in such a position of power where you are suppose to perform a non-partisan role comment in such a ghetto way about a nominee for President and thereby interfere in our free elections. It also amounts to intimidation from oligarchy as seen in third world countries.

I am also sick of those pathetic oversize drink coasters that dithering old egyptian mummy wears as ties. She also is known for having an overbearing “old lady” stench.

She needs to apologize to legal Americans for trying to threaten us and interference in free elections under the color of authority - personally I think she really wants to go to bed with Trump but knows she is ugly and this is a form of sexual harrassment.

lol, I doubt she needed any nudging from anyone.
She has said ridiculous comments in the past, not to this extent of course, but she is not all there.

If she is removed, fat chance I’m sure, I hope McConnell does NOT suddenly decide to fill the spot. Can’t trust that double faced loser.

What is it with that 'old geezer' smell? I mean, where does it come from? Mothballs and formaldehyde?

Old geezer smell comes from the pores, basically inside the body. Elderly tend to have weak bowel control and drink less as a form of control. Even wearing depends an accident must be changed immediately for not only odor but the natural acid irritates sensitive, older skin. Less water means toxins are not flushed which smells like geezer from senior pores. Don’t kid yourself, you’ll do it to because it happens in increments and you aren’t aware of it as such.

Considering what has happened to OTHER people who have picked fights with The Donald in the past, it has been most unwise of Ruth Buzzi-Bader Ginsburg to have launched an attack. And particularly so deep into the election season. People remember these things when the polls open up, and while some few would still applaud the aged Justice for her "bravery" in taking a shot at the Donald, those people were never going to vote for The Donald anyway.

The big shift comes in the amorphous and largely fickle "middle", that swath of "unaffiliated" voters that the Republican party has been saying for years they must attract for any chance of victory in the Presidential race.

The fact is, The Donald has drawn them in, at a record pace, and may even have won over enough of overcome the deficit of Republican voters he may have lost by his strong invective, attacking the Establishment Republicans, who have been the greatest cheerleaders for the status quo and permanent minority position of the legislative branch since the ascent of the Bush years (41 AND 43).

And should she resign prematurely (or die, it is a break-even bet either way), that restores the proper balance to the court, and there is STILL no requirement that any nominee by the Current Occupant be seated, especially not in the name of "fairness". Fair does not apply when you are dealing with liberals, as they would never reciprocate.

“Dementia”

Maybe, but I’m leanng more to a moment of clarity exhibited by saying what she really thinks. I just hope she stays on the court till after the election.

Well now she’ll just have to recuse herself on any case that President Trump has weighed in on.

(Yeah like Marxists would ever do that but insist that every else must)
