Paul Rino’s Cantorization draws nearer by the hour.

No, we don’t have to respect different views. I respect those who respect the God-given rights of other American citizens. I do not respect terrorists, thugs, or criminals. Black Lives Matter is on the wrong side of that question, and I do not respect views on that side.

"People feel like they're being discriminated against and they're not safe because of the color of their skin, so that's profound and because people believe that, we have to listen to that,"

No, we don't.

There are forces at work today that are profound, utterly destructive to the United States of America as we have known it until the early 80s. That is half the picture.

The other half is historical perspective, societal engagement and fundamental understanding of the worst instincts and tendencies of human nature.

There has been some attention to the state of the country by isolated groups and individuals, attempting to explain the tendency to rush headlong into what Hobbes called the "State of Nature," and that tendency is accelerating, driven by the dumbest, both intellectually and educationally.

Briefly stated, the "State of Nature is:
" In such condition, there is no place for Industry; because the fruit thereof is uncertain: and consequently no Culture of the Earth… no Knowledge of the face of the Earth; no account of Time; no Arts; no Letters’. And so, as a result, our lives will be ‘solitary, poore, nasty, brutish, and short. (Leviathan, Ch. 14)

For those with the means and the inclination for a more thorough philosophical definition, This one might help:

Why Have Society, and Laws?

This is a good start, there is much more to discuss, to debate and to resolve. That will follow later today and in the future.

Leon Russell sad it all:

I’m up on the tight wire, one side’s ice and one is fire

It’s a circus game with you and me

I’m up on the tight rope, one side’s hate and one is hope

But the top hat on my head is all you see

Is it just my perception, or does it seem to anyone else, here, that Paul Ryan is projecting an IQ of at least 20-30% lower than what his comments & behavior indicated before his 2012 run for Vice President?

He was a bright "up & comer" in 2011. Now he seems only very marginally above the mental functionality of someone picked at random from the phone directory.

I know his effort to keep in constant public view is tasteless & demeaning--as well as very annoying considering his anti-Trump remarks. But, quite seriously, he does not seem to be functioning at anywhere near the level at which he once functioned.

Have to respect different views. The BLM view is that more cops need to be murdered. Nice going, Paul.

“Does he have much of a Black Identity Movement in his district to which he must pander?”

Doubtful. He’s just pre-pandering for his Presidential race in 4 years by pretending to act all Presidential and such, and copying the Panderbear-in-Chief by pandering to black thugs.

Ryan is truly a P.o.S.

Police behavior and tactics are certainly fair game for debate and protest in a democratic society.

What do we want? DEAD COPS! When do we want them? NOW!.....

....not so much

I confess, I have yet to read the article—but the headline just makes me wonder, what is the difference between Ryan and a Democrat? Seriously? He is the same.

That’s a good point. He’s a young man and he has been a good little boy to his globalist masters. I could see him working for Goldman Sachs on a 7 figure salary.

Yes, I could just imagine Billy boy all red faced and Hellary screeching as they’re hog tied and dragged out to the posts in the courtyard.

No Paul, if there view is that I and my family should die because of my profession, no, I don’t think I will respect that. I categorically and unequivocally reject this.
