Agree. Just because they “self-identify” doesn’t mean they actually are. It’s the number one fad these days and get them the AtTeNtIoN! they crave. It’s all about MEEEEEE!!!!
Actually, this is an overestimate. About 2.4% do, according to the latest surveys by the CDC. And the gay/lesbian levels are remarkably constant: 1.5%. The only growth in the past thirty years comes from among the sexually confused (bisexuals).
Interestingly, apart from STDs like AIDS (which is like saying, “Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the theater”), gays are relatively healthy, but bisexuals are basket cases.
The 4 percent is correct. 2% of males are full gay, another 2% can go wither way. Same in the female side. Actually gayness occurs in the animal kingdom too. It’s the DNA. Culture can sway the 4% that are on the border to be good. that is why people over thousands of years have realized marriage is between a man & woman, and a strong family culture benefits society.

This is probably true now. It wasn’t a few years ago. I despise the people who have “normalized” it and encouraged our youth to make the wrong choice: celebrities and “cool” gay people. They can do what they want but stop proselytizing our youth.
Because while their numbers may be small their fellow travelers are legion. I know almost no one under the age of 40 who does not totally support the LGBTQ agenda at least in principle. It may be political correctness or it may be years of educational indoctrination, but it is a reality.
