Polls released in July mean practically nothing in relation to an election in November.
Start paying attention to the polls in the Fall, after the first debate.
In mid-October of 2012, the Gallup Poll had Romney up by 7 points. We all know how that turned out.

Women want and are attracted to strength and decisiveness. They want the alpha male, that confident man who knows himself .
*********

Absolutely correct and yet many, many women have allowed others to tell them what too think.

How f’d up is that?

I think in the absence of real men the gubmint is a proxy for a man in their life. My current GF, a beautiful, talented, smart and independent woman. A bad third date and a broken condom and 16 years later she has a teenage son because she would not do an abortion. She is a conservative but says many women she knows think of the men today as lying pussies, devoid of inner connectedness and integrity....the government is their backstop. This was done on purpose, the combination of the sexual revolution and the denigration of men(Watch any sitcom, men are buffoons and morons whole the women are centered and intelligent) Like in the black community where integrity is in short supply among men, its about hedonism and criminal enterprise. Look what you have now. False manhood, violent savages without any grounding or decency.

To be fair, men have since the early 50’s sitcoms been depicted as morons. Remember the Honeymooners?

That said men today are definitly, in the main, pussies. They have allowed women to change the natural order of things which allowed for men to protect the family home and fight when necessary. Mostly this was done my mothers raising their sons to be wimps and the rest was some men thinking they can get laid more easily by acting sensitive and submissive, then coming to actually believe there own bullshit.

I was born in 1942 and grew up in a different world. I feel pity for what has happened to men here and in the rest of the world

Part of the gender differences in voting you discuss though are influenced by race. Because of higher rates of criminal convictions and apparently disinterest, black and Hispanic males vote at a lower rate than their women. In 2008 the turnout for black women was about 8 points higher than for black men, and turnout for Hispanic women was over 5 points more than for Hispanic men. This sort of disparity existed in 2012 also.

Because of that, minorities make up a larger percentage of the female electorate than they do of male voters. Yes, women as a whole voted for Obama, but white women voted both for McCain and Romney over Obama (and by even larger numbers if you only count married white women). If your wife is white and voted for Obama, then she was the exception, not the rule. You shouldn’t try to extrapolate your wife’s failings to all women. Women make up a large chunk of Freepers for example and surely you wouldn’t claim that Freepers are only guided by emotion.

A sincere congratulations on your 50 plus years as a married couple. Marriage is blissful sometimes and not so much other times. For better for worse is a true statement. Hubby and I have been married a much shorter 22 years, with four children. Husband and I agree on politics ( though we have had disagreements about other matters.) and we agree my father and his brother are crazy liberal loons:) I wish both you and your wife well. Go Trump!

"It didn't seem to matter that all he managed to say were LIES. Because he said his lies so well."

I believe he is in fact "The prince of lies.."

There is no other explanation as to how this man became president of the United States.....

MHO...

How Trump is not ahead after last week is beyond me.

Trump is FAR ahead. You can take that to the bank.

NO MSM news source is going to report the TRUTH.
They will do whatever necessary to influence the voters toward Hillary.

NBC, CBS, & ABC and any poll they present is NOT to be trusted and almost guaranteed to be intentionally skewed.

Lololol

My advice? Next time be more careful about who YOU fall in love with.

Secondly Why haven’t you successfully educated your wife? Being a Freeper gives you the resources to do it.

Sounds like, all in all you need to do a better job.

In my mind, voting for the assho*e is the only terrible thing she has done and that only the first time (according too her).

In all other ways she really could not be better. She really has no interest in politics and that is why she treats it like a High School event to elect the class president.

Too many yrs invested to allow a moron like Ostupid to cause trouble.

Repeal the 19th Amendment and all our problems disappear.

I’ve called this thing a landslide for Trump long long ago...

The absolute BEST case for Hillary was 15 states and 180 EC votes... and that was BEST CASE.

More realistic was probably 10ish states and 120 EC votes...

Now, with the way things are going, I don’t think Hillary will get 10 states.... I think we are heading toward a 1980ish drubbing and if it keeps up, possibly a 1984ish drubbing.
