Twenty-one officers from various Minnesota law enforcement agencies were injured and more than 102 protestors were arrested as a demonstration on the I-94 freeway in St. Paul turned violent Saturday night, with protestors hurling rocks, bottles, fireworks and bricks at law enforcement officers on the scene.

Hundreds of demonstrators began protesting at the Governor’s Residence in St. Paul Saturday night over the police-involved shooting death of Philando Castile earlier in the week before heading onto the I-94 freeway around 8 p.m., local Fox affiliate KMSP reported.

The interstate was shut down in both directions for more than five hours and the protests eventually turned violent, with demonstrators hurling bricks, fireworks and at least one Molotov cocktail at officers, according to the St. Paul Police Department.

Police gave at least 16 orders for the crowd to disperse, eventually using smoke to clear the highway after 1 a.m. Fifty people were reportedly arrested and booked on third-degree rioting charges during the I-94 protest, while another 52 individuals were arrested for public nuisance and unlawful assembly during a separate altercation with police officers around 4 a.m. on Grand Avenue.

In all, 21 officers from several Minnesota law enforcement agencies were injured during Saturday night’s protests.

Why are our police being forced to take this shit?
Why are they being told to not attack these thugs with overpowering force and put em in jail where they belong?

USA sure made a big big mistake in 2008 (and 2012)!

(we need a serious investiation of those organizing and funding civil insurrection and interference with our electoral process)

When BLM shows up, deploy tactically armored units and lay down supressing fire. Then send in the rest with a good supply of body bags. Lather, rinse, repeat. The BLM movement will wither and die.

Yes it will. Good call.
Eventually some other jerks morons fools folks will show up for yet another whine and complaint about how AWFUL this country is, how TERRIBLE we are.

They should join ranks with the Muslim haters; it's all the same rhetoric that every person of good faith tries to avoid. Well, I didn't learn to hate anyone in my religious training. We were taught to HATE the sin and LOVE the sinner.

As well as Obama and the media, mind reader Mark Dayton shares the blame in stoking the flames. We all know what Obama is and about, but it really infuriated me with Mark Dayton convicting the cop before the body was cold and NO ONE had all the facts. If any law enforcement officer votes for Democrats after this, they need their head examined. They will stab you in the back for political gain and their leftist agenda in a heartbeat. We’ve seen it time and time again.

The Govenor deserves to have white demonstrators surrounding his Mansion. I’ll bet his police guard is feeling real positive right now.

Oh yeah! I’m sure they love him as much as the Secret Service love being on Hillary duty! Frickin’ elitist ingrates and backstabbers.

George Soros is very pleased

Yes he is, since he/his money is what is funding BLM. It probably is laundered through many front "charities"; but, it is Soros money.

So you at least admit it’s more dangerous?

It’s true, it is more dangerous. You don’t always have to give a dissertation on why... if you want the conversation to continue to more important points without getting muted before you even get there.

But the only way there’s ever going to be a break in this wall is if we can get people talking. Sometimes it’s easier to get past a wall by going around it or over it rather than try to go through it.

What Gingrich just did was to make black listeners go “Whaaa....?”

When you say something that doesn’t fit other peoples preconceived notions about you, you’ve got a better chance of getting them to at least pay a little attention to what you say in the future.

Return fire and this stuff will stop quickly after an initial explosion of violence. BUT, with Obama instigating these fights and taking over local police departments it will just be a never ended festering wound.

nobama figured it out pretty well, didn't he. Fundamental transformation.

I’m sorry I misspoke. I should have worded that better.

Let me just say I do not have white guilt. I don’t need to understand black thugs. I don’t need Gingrich lecturing me.

He’s once again being a political opportunist.

I don’t care what Gingrich has to say now or in the future.

Yes, there is.

It will conger up images of what rat officials did in the past... usually accompanied by snapping dogs, at which point the police will be seen as being of the same ilk as old southern democrat racists who did it even to peaceful protestors.

There was a gadget someone invented for the Army, IIRC, which uses sound waves to make people lose control of bodily functions, kind of takes the bravado out of tough guys fast.

“It is more dangerous to be black in America,” said Newt Gingrich..

That statement is absolutely true... The danger comes from other BLACK people.
