The makers are going to be shocked at how little the targeted female audience is willing to pay to see this movie...
On the radio a couple of days ago they described how toys associated with this new movie were already in the discount rack at a major store chain.

I think you’re missing the point. Feig is the one who came up with the storyline and submitted it to Sony. Sony didn’t “saddle” him with anything. It was his idea and they accepted it.
