Micah Xavier Johnson, of Mesquite, is one of four people police said were responsible for ambushing police officers at a peaceful protest against nation-wide officer-involved shootings in Dallas Thursday.
Police said officers cornered Johnson and negotiated with him for hours before talks broke down. Dallas Police Chief David Brown said Johnson told officers he was upset about recent shootings involving police and "wanted to kill white people. Especially white officers."
After an exchange of gunfire, Brown said officers attached an explosive device to a bomb robot and detonated it near Johnson, killing him.
A black SUV found at the scene of the shootings was listed as registered to Delphene Johnson, also of Mesquite.

Wait...why are cops allowed to use robotic bombs? Since when in this a war zone and since when are they trained for such tactics?
This is very close, if not the same, as our government using a drone to kill a citizen on U.S. soil. I have absolutely no sympathy for the murderer, but this action by the police creates a new precedent.
For a person who hates white people he sure had no qualms about living in a white neighborhood in a house that utilizes white building codes.

Nothing sacred about killing a madman only with a gun. I wouldn’t care if they gassed him or talked him into jumping off the building.
