I don’t question the sincerity of the protesters, I question the motives of the organizers.

There is no question that there are incidents of police abuse and excessive violence. But the incidents that BLM has chosen to publicize have uniformly been cases where the police were clearly justified and the “victim” was anything but.

Rob a convenience store, assault the clerk, get spotted by a police officer walking in the middle of the street, assault said officer, try to take his gun, and get shot? No same person would call that an abuse of power.

So why does BLM continually pick cases like this? The only reason I can imagine is that they are trying to fuel outrage while ensuring that nothing is ever fixed.

Now this most recent case in Falcon Heights is different, if the witness’ statement can be believed. Driving down the street with girlfriend and a four-year-old kid in the car. Get pulled over for a burned out tail light. Inform officer you have a carry permit, and get shot for reaching for your wallet.

It’ll be interesting to see whether BLM decides to build a case around this instance.

This stupid jughead doesn’t realize that HE is the one that started this. His condemnation of the Ferguson police after a correct shoot is the root of all of this. When he damned the police he set the stage for all the of the people that see themselves as victims to believe they are targets. These so-called victims do not understand that an officer is giving commands to protect them as well as himself.
