This hearing with FBI director Comey fails to ask one question that needs to be addressed. All this email thing comes from the Benghazi investigation where Congress discovered Hillary had a private insecure sever of her own that wasn't under the control of the government. This discovery rang all kinds of alarm bells for anyone that understood the gravity of what she was doing.
Just to make it more clear what we are faced with let's try to make a hypothetical example of the gravity of what she did.
Let's say the Libyan Ambassador sent multiple emails to various officials asking for more security. Just for the sake of clarity, let's say 600 emails asking for more security, maybe with references about not enough personnel for security, maybe a hole blown in the protection wall, maybe people taking pictures of the compound that shouldn't be doing that. Everyone knows 9-11 is coming up and the emails continue to pour in to the State dept and others.
Now in our hypothetical, let's assume her unsecured server fails to keep her email secure and the enemy, as in Al Quida or ISIS reads these emails. Is it possible, maybe, just on an outside guess, that these moronic ape men, said to themselves, "Maybe we should hit them where they don't have enough security and we will have a cake walk and embarrass the US". Maybe they figured The Benghazi embassy would be a pushover.
Now would it be beyond the pale to accuse Hillary of getting 4 men murdered and many others injured, besides embarrassing the US? I'm just not sure people are getting the importance of every word in a secure message sent among intelligence. Just sending a cryptic location is devastating if the enemy knows the cryptic code. Telling people we can't fend off the enemy 600 times, might,....I repeat, might, send a message of "this is where we need to attack". Maybe Hillary could be charged with murder if this is so?
You have to wonder if Obama's trips were advertised on her email. Maybe what out military movements were in advance. Maybe that's why we seem to always be losing in the war on terror.
It makes me wonder if Air Force One was shot down by a shoulder fired missile that Hillary advertised where and when it would be, would the Dems still be so protective of Hillary.

It could be that her private insecure server caused Benghazi. If she had used her proper state channels, Ambassador Stevens might be alive and Romney might be a President.

It is precisely scenarios like this that make the improper handling of sensitive information such a crime. Even if it isn’t the case, it is entirely plausible that it CAN happen. Hell, even the emailed photo of a submarine bulkhead can give someone, somewhere information that can cost the lives of Americans. That Hillary walks away from this is a travesty.

The Hillary/FBI crap has gotten all of us so fired up, that we can’t wait for relevant stories to come up. I am guilty of this, too, but I have started a twelve-step program...

When did the FBI discover Hillary had a private email server? They talked to Gucifer about three years ago. The FBI may have had multiple heads up about her situation.
Somebody knew about Seal Team 6.
It’s also why there is nothing in the law about intent. Mishandling sensitive information, and really bad things may result, even if you didn’t intend for that to happen. Ignorance, carelessness, stupidity, lack of sophistication, whatever you want to call it are no excuse. FBI added interpretation to the law that were never designed to be there, and are not applied to others.

Well, if you listen to the dems on the committee it’s just a political persecution of their queen Hillary. Oh and everyone in govt does it.

Maybe it’s even worse - maybe she referred to Stevens using a homophobic slur?. Wouldn’t want that kind of thing to come out, would we?
So .... what is Hilly using NOW for her communications? Does she have a new server? She has no government position so she is not on secure government communication systems, right? Still using the same famuliar devices she used as SOS? So here she is, flying around with Obama whose specific schedule would be classified - anybody see a problem? Hilly could still, being hypothetical, end up getting AF1 blown out of the sky.
I don’t find this anything to wonder about. It’s entirely plausible, though completely unprovable. Especially when you consider the arms trafficking implications to Libya; Blumenthals’ reported business interests in Libya together with HRCs chatterings with him, and as you say, the hundreds of times Stevens begged for security claiming the “embassy” was unprotected.
But people should definitely chatter about it, and I mean that seriously, because it’s “hooky”. We have to keep hoping, even against all evidence to the contrary, the even the neurochallenged Democrats who support HRC might one day get the notion that Stevens might be alive had she not compromised the walls between secure and unsecure communications. And then we can wonder if they even care.
Bingo! If you watched the FBI director when the Repubs started to inquire about some things that might be in the emails, he immediately started to throw it into secret meetings. We will never see the top secret emails that she didn't protect, but the protection is sure on now. It could be anything on any subject that we would find horrific. Maybe discussions on transferring Gitmo prisoners, or negotiations for giving up the 5 Taliban for a traitor. The mind boggles over what could be on the server no one knows about. Maybe emails to Epstein over getting a 10 year old or a 12 year old for the weekend, or trading $2 billion of munitions going to the Kurds for $10 million to he Clinton fund. I'm sure there are emails that even Repubs on the intelligence committee have no clue about and can't even receive a briefing.
