What we know about Clinton's server
Washington Examiner ^ | July 3,2016 | By HUGH HEWITT

Posted on 07/04/2016 9:10:50 AM PDT by Hojczyk

Nobody who knows the status of the investigation into Clinton's server is talking, and those who are talking as if they do — well, they simply do not know what is truly going on but have some incentive to pretend to do so. They cannot know, in fact, unless they know (1) what has been recovered from the server by the forensic specialists working on the server and (2) the precise details of what Secretary Clinton said in her interview.

On May 15, 2015 I interviewed former CIA Acting Director and long time Deputy Director Michael Morell in a wide ranging interview, the transcript and audio of which are available online. Here is one key aspect of our conversation:

HH: What did you make of the secretary of state having a private server in her house?

MM: So I don't think that was a very good judgment. I don't know who gave her that advice, but it was not good advice, and you know, she's paying a price for it now. Yeah, it was not good.

HH: As a professional matter, do you believe that at least one or perhaps many foreign intelligence servers, services have everything that went to and from that server?

MM: So I think that foreign intelligence services, the good ones, the good ones, have everything on any unclassified network that the government uses, whether it's a private server or a public one. They're that good.

HH: So that's a yes?

MM: Yup.

+1

Nobody gives a crap about the stupid classification system.

It's the CONTENT that's important.

Clinton's server

The second word, for the grifting word play couple, is key:

As a server, it 'served' 'her'.

(1) what has been recovered from the server by the forensic specialists working on the server

Irrelevant. Clinton has a (D) after her name

(2) the precise details of what Secretary Clinton said in her interview.

Irrelevant. Clinton has a (D) after her name

Hitlery can be filmed on live television shooting up a special school for gay transexual black children and cracking open their skulls and eating the brains out of the still quivering corpses while kicking puppies with a megaphone in her hand and her ID held up for all the world to see while screaming “I am Hillary Clinton and I am eating children and kicking puppies!!!!!” And the entire media and chattering class would immediately dismiss it as right wing kookiness, and would sneer at anyone who even brought it up.

"Secretary Clinton broke all those rules. Then she spirited away all her emails in contravention of the law. Then she destroyed what she should not have destroyed, obfuscated and outright lied about all of it.

That's what we know. We don't know if she or her close associates will be charged. But we do know she shouldn't be president."

This from a "never Trumper." You can't have it both ways Hugh. I'll forgo my usual rant about Hugh's pathetic disrespect for his producer Duane Patterson.

We also know

* When Clintons are attacked they fight back in every possible way - dirty and otherwise
* Clintons collect data on everyone they can for situations like this
* Allies have said if she’s indicted she’ll insist everyone who sent or receive classified emails with her is also indicted
* The foundation corruption is worse than the email “mistakes”
* Obama’s legacy would probably not be tainted much by the email “mistakes” but will likely take a big hit if his SoS was found to be selling influence for years.

Obama and many Rs & Ds in DC cannot allow her to be indicted.

Does MM begin every answer with “SO?” Sounds like an evasive beginning or something weird as if he is prefacing his answer with a thought that he doesn’t want to reveal.
Annoying to even read.

The only problem with this line of attack is the .gov State Department email system isn't classified either. He's saying the foreign intelligence services would have gotten all of her email even if she hadn't used her own server.

The media acts like all of these stories are independent and are either are too lazy or prefer not to connect the dots. CNN has been droning on for two days now (my nephew is staying with us, otherwise it would not be on), about how there will be no indictments if no new evidence of wrongdoing is found. Yeah, she mishandled sensitive data, but there is no evidence of deliberate wrongdoing.

NO EVIDENCE OF DELIBERATE WRONGDOING?? She WIPED her server. She has a history, as secretary of State, of doing favors for foreign and domestic entities which correspond with extremely hefty contributions to the Clinton Foundation. Connecting the dots has never been so elementary.

The Federal Records Act of 1950
“The head of each Federal agency shall make and preserve records containing adequate and proper documentation of the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, and essential transactions of the agency and designed to furnish the information necessary to protect the legal and financial rights of the Government and of persons directly affected by the agency’s activities.” (44 U.S. Code § 3101)

The State Department’s own treatment of the question from 1995: “Another important modern improvement is the ease of communication now afforded to the Department world-wide through the use of E-mail. . . . All employees must be aware that some of the variety of the messages being exchanged on E-mail are important to the Department and must be preserved; such messages are considered Federal records under the law.” (5 FAM [Foreign Affairs Manual] 443.1)

These are difficult peas for the Clinton spin-masters to spin.

Clinton's Server

1. It was not a professional Grade Server.

2. Most likely a Microsoft server.

3. .Gov is on the www

4. Classified matter is not on www.

5. Each level of classified matter is
a discrete network

6. In order for an A-T/S matter to be on an
Unclassified server
it would have to have been copied or
photographed in a SCIF and sneaker-netted
to a .GOV terminal in order for it to have
been sent to the HRC server

7. This means that someone
on HRC staff (Huma ? )
would have violated the LAW on Treason
(not unlike Bradley (Chelsea) Manning)
(The LAW does not require INTENT)
got 15 years in Leavenworth

Does anyone else notice Hillary’s response to questions about investigation is always “ I did not send or receive any classified emails”.

Isn’t it more then just that the FBI is investigating her for? She destroyed emails that may have been government property; she didn’t get permission to have a private server; and many more violations.
