Trump posted a comment of the red star controversy a couple of hours ago on Twitter, so I guess the liberal media is pushing this nonsense for all it's worth. I've been doing armchair semiotical studies, researching insignia, signs, & symbols for over a day now, and could only find one match to the red star posted in a Trump tweet. And it's an exact match. It's the insignia of the U.S. Army 6th Infantry Division, especially in WWII.

Personally, I had let this issue go yesterday. But Trump posted it on his Twitter feed a couple of hours ago so I wanted to comment on it and make people aware of what I found.
As for newbie, I was on FR back in the 90’s until early 2000’s but had to go dark because of my job and duty (can’t even recall my FReeper handle back then). But I’m sure in one of my boxes I have photos with Kristinn Taylor and JimRob in D.C. at a FReeper rally on The Mall. But I had to quit my account and posting and I remained just a part-time lurker after that. Fast forward to today. Things are extremely perilous and this election is the most important in my lifetime and my children’s lifetime. And now that I’m free to go online and spout my views, well, this newbie is back on FR. [wink]
