If the FBI has a very good case, then you are correct.
It is possible that she was presented with the evidence and offered the opportunity to consider her options over the weekend. Tuesday could be interesting.

Sure there was. Bill brought his golf bag struffed with Lynch's retirement fund, and in return Lynch gave Bill assurances that the investigation was over an as an added bonus, gave him a 'preview' of the questions that the FBI would be permitted to ask. And since somebody will probably have to go-to-jail over this (my guess is Cheryl Mills) they were probably figuring out how to get her to fall 'right'.

This could all be just wishful thinking but it is possible. I just can’t imagine why WJC would meet with the AG. There had to be some thing really important and too sensitive to communicate in any other way.
This might just be the democrat/hillary equivalent of the republican/nixon moment when Goldwater told Nixon it was over.
If I’m correct, will she withdraw? Who knows. She’s a fighter and she might decide to go down like Hitler in the ruins of Berlin. Telling WJC first might have been an attempt to get him to convince her to give it up.
BTW, I do not think Obama would cover for her. Obama has been a part of the left wing of the democrat party, a Teddy Kennedy guy. The Clintons always represented the much more centrist elements of the party. There was no love between them.
Obama might prefer Biden/Warren. Now pushing Biden/Warren through the convention over Sanders... Pass the popcorn, that would be worse than Chicago in ‘68.
We will see.
Trump is a betting man. He is placing a no-lose bet that Hillary will not be indicted. Most likely he is correct. But if by some freak chance Justice DOES indict — well that works for Trump as well. It’s a Win-Win.
