Confirmed: Clinton met with FBI about email investigation

BREAKING –  Hillary Clinton met Saturday morning with the FBI regarding the agency’s investigation into her use of a private email server for official correspondence while secretary of state.

The voluntary meeting lasted about three-and-a-half hours and was conducted at the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., according to the Clinton campaign.

Clinton “is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion” campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. He also said Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, will not make further comment about the interview.

Clinton’s use of the private server and email address -- particularly whether the setup was used for classified information and how secure they were -- has cast a shadow over her campaign from the start.

The FBI investigation is purportedly coming to a close, and the Clinton interview is considered among the final steps in the case.

I agree with you, Brook. Obummer will issue a blanket pardon on his way out of office and Hillary skates free. Otherwise, he has to worry about the damage she can do with all the dirt she most certainly has on him.

IIRC, it was Hillary who first questioned Obummer’s birth certificate back in 2008, was it not? Maybe she was able to gather some evidence before his “scrubbers” erased the rest of it. In fact, maybe that’s why he made her SecState, to keep her quiet. It certainly wasn’t for her skill.

Comey has no choice here. Everybody knows about this case and the enormous pile of evidence the FBI has. He can’t do nothing or the entire “rule of law” will collapse, not to mention what it would do to his reputation. Whether he settles for “half a loaf” is the only question.

The email mess could be played as negligence, or a ferocious prosecutor could pump it up to an espionage charge. Put secret material on a server open to every high school hacker on the planet? Really? What a clever way to deliver classified material!

I’m also morbidly curious about the whole “pay to play” money laundering thing, with foreign governments paying speaking fees to the Clinton Crime Foundation before receiving favorable treatment. That one stinks too.

All this is Kabuki theater to tease and irritate conservatives.

As Rush predicted on Friday, Nothing will happen to the Clintons.

Maybe that is why Rush ignored Obama’s eligibility to be president along with all the forged birth documents, the stolen social security number, the non-attendance at Columbia, his Marxist friends, etc. Nothing came of that either.

Personally, I have gone through all the stages of mourning. I don't feel anything anymore.

Hilary is being questioned by the FBI just as a terrorist attack in Bangladesh grabs the headlines. There’s always something to distract, ya know. Hilary’s going to win because the powers that be want her to. They want a vindictive, corrupt criminal, embezzler, extortionist, money launderer, and probable murderer in the WH. Probably because she is so much like themselves.

The FBI is being pressured to wrap this up before the Dem convention in late July. The Dems don't want a cloud over Hillary's head. Or they want an opportunity to replace her at the convention. Either way, the FBI is the one feeling enormous pressure. No doubt that was Bill's message along with exonerating Hillary sooner rather than later.

Now Lynch can claim that the career bureaucrats were the ones who exonerated Hillary, not the political appointees. This was why this charade of a meeting was set up, i.e., to give Lynch the pretext of saying that she will accept the recommendation of the career personnel knowing full well what their recommendation is.

Comey will recommend prosecution for some of Hillary's staff and give her a pass. Obama will pardon the staff before he leaves office.

Having the FBI show up at her house on a Saturday morning doesn’t help her. The timing is actually perfect for this topic to dominate all the sunday shows. Again, not good for her.

If there is a conspiracy it is to destroy her. Has anyone seen Biden lately?
