NBC News has learned the Trump campaign is moving into a new phase of the running mate search: the interviews. Today, Indiana Governor Mike Pence will travel to meet with Donald Trump this weekend. Sources tell NBC News Pence is being formally vetted for consideration to join the Trump ticket.

I would rather win and not nuances this. People who are smart change their positions to fit the situation in front of them. Remember Christie won New Jersey where Republicans are in the minoriity. I lost all respect for Ted Cruz during the primaries. He would be one the worst choices possible. Allen West would be at or near the top of my list. The GOP has to break with the white guy thing.

Well, many of us still hold him in high respect, and his voting record remains excellent. Trump would be smart to unite the supporters of the two top vote getters in the primary.
West might make an excellent Defense Secretary, though.
The way he stood up for religious liberty in Indiana and defended Christians against the degenerate homosexual lobby should make him the front runner. That kind of courage and integrity is sorely missing in Washington...not.
He was a team builder in congress, that’s for sure.
Zero wouldn’t have won without the extensive help of the RINO Establishment. He owes them his federal career. Seeing a corpulent RINO weasel and Cuddle Buddy of Zero’s name mentioned for VP or any other federal office is offensive.
Pence is a Hanover Graduate and anyone here in IN knows you can't get into Hanover unless you have brains.
Donald mentions Bobby Knight in many of his rallies along with Carrier still. Possibly a connection here. Indiana is a Fly Over State that believes heavily on guns, Not Common Core, and economy.

I would prefer Trump pick someone black or female or both because the Clinton criminal cabal and their cohorts in the treason media are going non-stop portraying Trump as racist and a misogynist and there are a LOT of brainless twits in this country who will believe it. By having a black female VP pick it would immediately neutralize the cabals #1 line of attack. I was thinking someone like Mia Love but some Freepers told me she is GOP-E, Condi Rice doesn’t want it, I really can’t think of anyone else. If he picks a white guy, the media is going to up the ante up non stop all the way to the election with their “Trump is racist” crap and to me that can really give Hillary the advantage. It sucks we live in a country where the press is so one sided like this, but I think if he plays it smart and neutralizes their attacks, he will absolutely crush her.
