I just got off of the phone with Mike Lees’s DC office. I called to say that I’d supported Lee for his Senate run, very generously with the Senate Conservatives Fund. And, that because of his rant against Trump, I - and my hubby - would NOT send him another 1¢.

The staffer asked if I was basing my views on Lee’s recent interview. I asked “with Steve Malzbrrg” and staffer said Yes. I said yes, as well as other news articles....that I’ve yet to see Lee walk it back.

The staffer said Lee has a few concerns and wants to watch Trump’s rhetoric before officially endorsing him.

I said it’s about dam time someone in our party used a little rhetoric to call out Dens and what’s going on. That that was MY concern.

I ended the call with non -support for Trump, is essentially an endorsement for Hellary.

/rant

Good for you!

I’m going to go to McCain’s office here in PHX, and give them an earful.

I sent him a blistering letter of scorn and the jacka$$ put me on an email send out list! GRRR!

Good on you, Jane. My Congressman, Lamar Smith, endorsed Trump before Mid-May:

“We stand on the precipice of one of the most important elections of our lifetime. This great nation cannot endure eight more years of Democrat-control of the White House. It cannot afford to put Democrats in charge of Congress. It is paramount that we coalesce around the Republican nominee, Mr. Donald J. Trump, and maintain control of both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.”

“Any other outcome is a danger to economic growth, puts our national security in peril, enshrines ObamaCare as the law of the land, entraps Americans in a cycle of poverty and dependence, and undermines our constitutional republic.”

This is some really good news. The tide is turning.

- JUNE 30, 2016 -

WHITE HOUSE WATCH: TRUMP 43%, CLINTON 39%

Rasmussen Reports
The tables have turned in this week’s White House Watch as Donald Trump now has a four-point lead over Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Mr. Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%.

This is Donald Trump’s highest level of support in Rasmussen Reports’ matchups with Clinton since last October.

Mr. Trump now earns 75% support among his fellow Republicans and picks up 14% of the Democratic vote. Seventy-six percent (76%) of Democrats like Clinton, as do 10% of GOP voters.

On Tuesday, Mr. Trump made a major speech that even the New York Times characterized as “perhaps the most forceful case he has made for the crux of his candidacy …. that the days of globalism have passed and that a new approach is necessary.”

Some speculate that last week’s vote in Great Britain and the latest terrorist carnage in Turkey signal a rise of economic nationalism that is good for Mr. Trump.

Mr. Trump now holds a 14-point lead among men, while Clinton leads by six among women. The candidates are tied among those under 40, while Mr. Trump leads among older voters.

Clinton continues to hold a wide lead among blacks. Mr. Trump leads among whites and other minority voters.

I think the guy grew up in a different age and perhaps his hate stems from him actually being a Democrat who hates Hillary and wanted to hear Donald's remarks to his concerns.

He knew what Donald would say but yet he just couldn't stop the second statement. He's the "Jap" Limey"guy who will always be living in those years. Not defending him just stating my opinion of where his mind is.

Great report. At least he is owning up to the contents of the interview, and not claiming he was misinterpreted.

He's entitled to his position.

The weasels who claim to represent me (they don't, they are bought and paid for) avoid my questions. One hundred percent.

Trump continues dialing it in- quoting the chapter and verse to the trade agreements is powerful, and continuing to repeat the facts and statistics, helps less interesting information to seep into the collective psyche of America. There are a lot of LIV’s on our side too.

Just so! ROTFL. And Trump should know, having been around the entertainment business!!

The media is unbelievable. After a Trump speech, I check the Twitter feeds of reporters covering him to see what narrative they will concoct. Often the media ignores substantive comments and goes ahead and tweets out something they deem controversial. This was one of Trump’s best off prompter speeches I thought, full of substance and a clear contrast to Hillary. What did the media tweet about? Donald Trump made a joke that a plane flying over was Mexico going to attack. The crowd laughed, and it was a harmless joke. Media tweets it out and triggered liberals respond with their faux outrage.

CNN, could have been FoxNews was reporting that a candidate has to get 90% (it was FoxNews, that Jarrett creep) of their own party in order to win. The graphic on the screen was showing Hillary getting 83% of the DEMs. Another disconnect brought to you by your friends in the press.

Trump specifically said when asked that he supports the US Constitution 100%.

He put his hands on the lectern and spoke of how extraordinary the Constitution is.

Several stated that today's was one of his best speeches.

Two person I know of want to send checks to Trump but they do not have computers. At his Website I saw no address for checks. Or did I overlook it?

Some voters get their info just from TV networks and mailings.

Yep. I hate giving the weasels my home or email addy. That’s why I prefer to call their DC office.

Not that they give a flip. I notice they’ve switched to an automated (think Vetizon or Xfinity) answering system. Trying to weed out the calls.
