MOUNT PLEASANT — Two sisters were charged with disorderly conduct after a disagreement over a bill for a bridesmaid dress apparently turned into a full-blown fight outside a bridal shop.
Chartaya M. Diggins, 31, of the 1800 block of Woodland Avenue, Racine, and Juvosha V. Diggins, 34, of the 2000 block of Loni Lane, Racine, both face misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges in connection with the incident, which occurred Thursday afternoon.
According to the complaint, Chartaya Diggins received a call from the mother of her fiancé informing her that $40 was owed on a bridesmaid dress at Image of Racine, 6222 Washington Ave., Mount pleasant.
The phone call angered Chartaya Diggins so much that she and her fiancé drove to the bridal store, according to the complaint. Once there, Chartaya Diggins and her fiance’s mother got into a loud verbal argument over the payment, according to the complaint.
The fiancé got both women out of the store, but the argument continued, with the fiancé attempting to separate the two women and more family members arriving at the bridal store, according to the complaint.
Workers at the bridal store locked the front door, telling Mount Pleasant police officers that they feared for the safety of themselves and other customers in the shop, according to the complaint.

As I’ve said earlier, my primary focus is the safety and survival of my family.
My motive is not hatred or to demean a demographic, although to folks who are feelings-based it might seem so.
And regarding Satan, It’s wasn’t the Prince of Darkness who tried to carjack my neighbor last month.
Momma has to establish the ground rules early. Remember, they are getting MARRIED. Momma may see that as a ruse for that gold digging tramp to get son’s vast financial empire.
Momma needs DIL to learn who is in charge. Nothing shows that better than a azz-kickin outside the bridal shop. DIL needs to play her position.
Humanity must unite against the devil which means to unite for the Lord, if it is to live lives that mean a thing in the end.
It is notable that the black community is “very religious” — however this (and it’s mirrored in the white community) is often shallow. The bible says, “a form of religion but lacking its power.”
Evangelists, probably preferably black, but of any other color if those will not step up, should be asking very pointed questions in those black churches! Such as, why are you acting like this is a “church of me” or even a “church of the community” and not like a “church of the Lord”? Does “dear Jesus” come only to help bring you convenience? Or to get you through the difficulties needed in order to do what is actually right?
And that will damn you.
