The Obama administration is looking into whether it can challenge the Supreme Court’s decision to block President Barack Obama’s plan to spare millions of illegal immigrants from deportation, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Tuesday.

“We will be reviewing the case and seeing what, if anything else, we need to do in court,” Lynch told Reuters in an interview.

Lynch did not say what legal options the Obama administration may pursue following a split decision by the Supreme Court justices last week that left in place a block on the executive action by a lower court.

She said any future executive actions Obama may take on immigration would be left to the White House. …

Hmm, I should start a pool...

Bet on which Obama will do first:

A) Pardon Hillary Clinton, ordering all investigations to end (as this is a distraction for the country, being pursued purely for political means...),

B) Pull the recess appointment lever and place a judge in SCOTUS.

C) Decide that the original judge didn't have the authority to decide what the administration can and can't do and ignores the TRO, with a really big speech about how there are many great and important legal questions which will be addressed in court, and should the judge find against the administration, the program of course will end, but in the meantime, it would be horrible to punish all those who are simply yearning for just some simple basic human decency, of just having basic ID, of just being able to go to a job and drive a car.

Paul Ryan won't pull the amnesty lever until after his primary, but pretty sure that win or lose, in October, there will be a miraculous ‘pathway to citizenship’ amnesty program proposed, which Democrats will see as being just an election stunt and oppose, and on purely party line votes, it goes to Obama’s hot little hands to put his stamp on a legacy.

More than enough time for him to sign it.

Point made!’ It’s settled law and they’d best accept that fact. Gay marriage - it’s settled law.
Mandated universal insurance - it’s settled law
Abortion rights - it’s settled law.
Settled law must be settled law only if the asshat liberals which it to be so.

The SC is supposed to be the final say. Unless an amendment to the constitution is passed. Then the SC can rule that it’s against the constitution itself.

Charles Manson was right. Nine men deciding how 200,000,000 people are going to live is wrong. (There weren’t as many people in American when he said it.)

The media gave Trump about 1 billion worth of coverage during the primaries. This was their plan as they saw him as the weakest candidate and they were right. They have now turned on him, as expected, like a pack of wild rabid dogs.

The hell of it is the nation is sick of Obama and Hillary is Obama in a pantsuit. Cruz was my man but Trump is what stands between Hillary and the Constitution. Despite Trump’s flaws he is without doubt a patriot of our great nation. Hillary is not a patriot. She considers herself a part of the global ruling elite and she is.

She must not have the reins of power least our great nation perish. She is a great danger.

Most people can’t stand the lying sack of shit Obama or the lying self-serving witch Hillary.

The pendulum is going to swing hard to the right this time and we will see Trump elected potus. Like Reagan v Carter in 1980 people are more then ready for a change. Even your avg Joe out here knows this is a turning point election and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

I sure hope Trump is prepared for the massive shitstorm that they’re going to hit him with when he takes the white house.

As you stated the case has been reviewed by the Supreme Court. The Justice department can not do anything if we are a constitutional democracy.

It should be noted that the Constitution of Venezuela was based on the Constitution of the United States. It is almost a carbon copy. I lived in Venezuela and their are many good people there but they did not have the rights to keep and bear arms. Today Venezuela is a Marxist dictatorship.

That is the reason the left in our great nation seek to take our weapons. They know at a certain point the citizens of our nation will rebel against tyranny.

Unfortunately Venezuela did not have the second amendment. They made a grave error. Today Carcass is the most dangerous city in the world. Only criminals and the government possess firearms. Let it be said that the government is criminal and thus only criminals possess firearms.

“We will be reviewing the case and seeing what, if anything else, we need to do in court,” Lynch told Reuters in an interview”

Trying to sound like you are still in charge while in reality behind the scenes you have had your heart ripped out of your chest and have had it handed to you. Nothing will be done Loretta until the good guys tell you what to do again.

Of course they are. Obama’s been ignoring the law for nearly eight years. Nothing’s changed.

according to Answers dot com, the DOJ can ask for a re-hearing, but they would need ‘compelling reasons.’ And even then they may not get one in the (effectively) four months remaining to this administration. Tough patooties, Zero.

It should be noted that the Constitution of Venezuela was based on the Constitution of the United States. …
Which one? The 1999 “Bolivarian Republic” constitution looks absolutely nothing like the US Constitution at all. Article 2 is very socialistic:
Venezuela constitutes itself as a Democratic and Social State of Law and Justice, which holds as superior values of its legal order and actions those of life, liberty, justice, equality, solidarity, democracy, social responsibility and, in general, the preeminence of human rights, ethics and political pluralism. …
Socialist buzzwords aplenty. Furthermore, their bill of rights reads like that of the USSR rather than that of the USA, featuring “positive” liberties (granted by the government) rather than the “negative liberties” (what the government can never do to you because those rights are God-given) that Obama bewailed.

I would rather listen to Thomas Jefferson than someone like Manson when it comes to the problems with the US judiciary.
The Constitution … is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary, which they may twist and shape into any form they please. It should be noted, as an axiom of eternal truth in politics, that whatever power in government is independent is absolute also. …
In the same letter (to Spencer Roane), he notes the judiciary even back then was “still driving us into consolidation”, thus exercising undue power from the bench.
