It's Toomey's race to lose and I believe he's too smart a man to self-destruct.

We will see. After Perot, on the Reform Party, ran for President, he was in the debates. Then moving along, when Buchanan ran for President, also for the Reform Party, both parties combined to keep him off the stage. My guess it that there will be no substantial debates between Clinton and Trump. It will be hard for Trump to get out his message

We need to be aware that there are two totally different types of FREE TRADE deals.
In one, nations agree to not restrict imports or exports. Reagan started NAFTA like this.
In the other, special interests write a 5,013 page deal with special provisions for environmentalists, corporate rent seekers, campaign donors, labor unions, racial spokespeople, and especially to populate a new bureaucracy. The 5,013 page deal has many addendum. This is what all recent agreements end up with. The only FREE trade is in the name. There is no FREE trade in the deal.
