To ensure a “fair and impartial” criminal justice system, the U.S. Department of Justice plans to train every one of its law enforcement employees and prosecutors to “recognize and address” their “implicit bias.” […]

According to the DOJ news release, “Implicit bias can affect interactions and decisions due to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion and socio-economic status, as well as other factors. Social science has shown that all individuals experience some form of implicit bias but that the effects of those biases can be countered through training.” […]

“At the Department of Justice, we are committed to ensuring that our own personnel are well trained in the core principles and best practices of community policing,” said Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch. “Today’s announcement is an important step in our ongoing efforts to promote fairness, eliminate bias and build the stronger, safer, more just society that all Americans deserve.” …

More Palpatine-like rhetoric. US society is to be “stronger, safer (and) more just” . . . but not necessarily a free society.

Justice becomes deaf, dumb, and blind. (Fat, drunk and stupid too.)

The implicit bias and stereotyping is happening against while male conservatives and Christians in general.

Our Justice Department is beset with socialists and Muslims clearly intent on destroying this country. To believe otherwise is complete folly. They want to take what we have, what we inherited, what we’ve worked for, what we’ve become tax slaves for, from us and once they have all that, they will kills us.

Government is the greediest, most corrupt and murderous force on Earth. It is not even debatable. Government corrupts everything it touches.

Is that stereotyping?

DC would be vacant if we did that.

Well, to be pedantic, the Founding Fathers did not call for anarchy, noting that governments are supposed to “derive their just powers from the consent of the governed”. However, they also called for private morality, which would insure the existence of the smallest government possible.

Implicit in my statement was the idea that government must have limited powers.

It’s not “implicit bias” to notice that blacks commit most of the violent crime in this country, Loretta.

Anyway, you’re gone in 6 months, shouldn’t you be packing up your stuff instead of launching new programs that will just get ended by the next President?

My husbands job has monthly diversity awareness classes. The biggest result has been an increase in resentment and lack of camaraderie

Ignore the obvious and give certain groups a free pass.

This isn’t new at DOJ. Decades ago, they shoved similar BS training up the employee butts that focused on “subtle sexual harassment,” and did similarly with so-called training on domestic terrorism that only considered “right wing” groups, taking their talking points straight from the SPLC. Most employees saw it as an opportunity to catch up on sleep.

Intel tried to push this for all employees.
The first test case went so badly that it was abandoned.
I nearly got fired for my objections but at least it died back in 2002.

This crap is going on in the colleges and universities and they have the audacity to say that there is no such thing as “diversity training”.
