"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller pleaded guilty Monday to bankruptcy fraud and failing to report thousands of dollars in Australian currency she brought into the country.
She was charged last fall with illegally trying to hide $775,000 worth of income from the Lifetime network reality show and spinoff projects during her Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Authorities later accused her of dividing more than $120,000 into plastic bags and having others in her group put the bags in their luggage in August 2014, violating a law requiring people to report bringing more than $10,000 worth of foreign currency into the country.

There is a FReeper named Haiku Man.
He has not yet been in contact with me, and for that I am deeply saddened.
You can tell the depth of my sadness because I did not put this in the form of a haiku.
Maybe I should just befriend FReeper Sentence Man.
Makes no difference where you are the gibmeallofdat revenue people are like piranhas sensing a fresh victim!!!
;-)
I think it is (over) three quarters of a MILLION dollars, not BILLION.
Nicely played
A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you’re talikng about real money...............Everett Dirksen
WTF. Where did you learn math, public school?
$775,000 is three-quarters a MILLION dollars, not a BILLION.
Oh, the irony.
I know that it’s not exactly 3/4, I simply rounded, as did the original poster.
I guess Detroit public schools never taught you the words, “rounding,” or, “pedantic.”
Lol.u
Go ask a realtu in your townu.
Your haiku is broku.
============================================
My parents bought this little house in 1960 and it cost twenty-five thousand dollars. They bought it with my father's CalVet loan.
TODAY, same house is worth one million four hundred thousand dollars.
Actually this humble wooden house is almost worthless...but the LAND is what is worth so much.
As they say in the real estate world: location, location, location.
Best to you today and tomorrow.
I've never been to Washington state or D.C.
When I was in my 20's I thought about politics but got over that the very next hour.
Just wondering because of the confusion about millions and billions. Legislators tend to lose track of the difference in millions, billions, and trillions when they are dealing with other people’s money.
I "googled" my house and saw the price only two months ago.
The house I live in was purchased by my parents in 1960 for $35,000. Now the same house is worth one million, four hundred thousand dollars.
My next door neighbor, who did NOTHING to his house and had 1/3 of the land we did, sold his house for one million two hundred thousand.
He turned 85 and moved to a fancy-schmancy retirement community. He also happened to be a hoarder. I never knew that. It took him eleven months to sell all the crap he had. Scary.
From the street his ONE garage door that he opened BY HAND, looked clear. From my kitchen sink his front door, when opened, also looked clear.
WHO KNEW?! I have a new appreciation for those phsychologists who deal with hoarders.
Well, I still think that $50.00 is a lot of money. I didn't even see a hundred dollar bill until I was in my 30's. That was a LONG time ago.
I guess you've figured out that I was never a math teacher. Dang. A dozen apologies for mis-mathing.
Gee, I made an ERROR.
Too many FReepers here need a LIFE.
But, thanks anyway.
