A slot at the GOP convention used to be a career-maker — a chance to make your name on the big stage and to catch the eye of the Republican donors and activists who make or break campaigns.
In the year of Trump: Not so much.
With the convention less than a month away, POLITICO contacted more than 50 prominent governors, senators, and House members to gauge their interest in speaking. Only a few said they were open to it — and everyone else said they either weren’t planning on it, didn’t want to, weren’t going to Cleveland at all, or simply didn’t respond.

Add the rest of our corrupt leaders and the majority of civil service. The State dept. is a damn bunch of socialists and PC Muslim lovers. Add the rest of the agencies as totally corrupted by the left. sad as hell. Look at the 20-30 plus crowd in America and the number of white boys with full beards.
Similarly, the above 50 "names" persons contacted to see if they would speak at the convention were carefully selected to fulfill a goal, i.e., to say they wouldn't speak....and guess what, I'll bet not one of these jerk politicians and "names" were ever asked to speak at the convention by the Trump campaign.
This is only one of the phony, contrived "polls", "surveys" and "reactions" we're going to see and read in droves between now and the convention (and right up until November, also).

I say good too. Who wants to listen to politicians droning on and on on the podium? Some of the most boring political speeches in history were made at conventions. Real snoozefests for the most part. I venture to say that while Trump many not get “big name politicians” to speak, those speakers he does get will be sure to be passionate and scintillating. I expect a lot of multimedia as well.
Maybe nobody wanted to talk to Politico. LOL!

They should just have a screen behind Trump showing a live feed from outside. Every hour or so someone gets up and says this is why we need to defeat leftist illegal immigrants.
I’ll bet the list is very long of people that would like to speak, just not the same old pols like McCain, Bush, and Dole.

IMO, 99% of the GOP is owned by global interests. There may be a few patriots, but they are afraid to come out of hiding. After all, they seem to all be dependent upon global funding to ascend to the position they hold.
If DJT is successful, hopefully it will encourage other PATRIOT billionaires to come forward and start funding PATRIOT candidates.
If the Globalists are not countered and defeated, the country is lost.
