Police say a central Florida mayor was carjacked early Saturday while standing outside his home.
MESH reports Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett was outside about 2:15 a.m. when three men approached, pointed a gun at him and stole his car keys.
Police say the suspects also stole Triplett’s wallet before driving off in his Mercedes. …

On this story. If he's a hoplophobe, I have no sympathy.
If he isn't, he should train and prepare better.
Personally, I am ALWAYS at condition yellow.
It sucks on dry ice, but I have a family with 2 little Sons to worry about.
The only time that I am not armed is when I am in my place of employment -because it's a, "Private Property. Firearms Not Allowed," area.
It's a really big facility, though.
I also have a plan....just in case.

I know about this mayor(live close) and about a year ago I mentioned on FB how much crime there was in Sanford and people from Sanford called me a racist redneck(including this mayor) LoL..how do you like me now???
