I lived in the Blue Mountains (Penrith) for six years. Never saw snow.
In recent years, it has appeared more often. I do believe that, in the southern hemisphere at least, global cooling is underway!
It was record breaking hot just shortly after Christmas, over 115F near Adelaide 6 months ago, i was there.
