The Daily Signal ^ | 6/24/2016 | Nile Gardner

The momentous victory for the Brexit campaign signals a new era of freedom for the British people.

After more than four decades of being shackled to the European Union (previously the European Economic Community), Great Britain has declared its independence.

The vote for Brexit is a vote for sovereignty and self-determination. Britain will no longer be subject to European legislation, with Britain’s Parliament retaking control. British judges will no longer be overruled by the European Court of Justice, and British businesses will be liberated from mountains of EU regulations, which have undermined economic liberty.

The begining of the end of the “EU”.

Plus the European nations getting a handle on that refugee problem.

In light of the way things are going, how much currency/legitimacy does the concept of countries or nations have?

Gotta love the Brits shaking up the game.

It’s a great excuse for a party!

Next up, the US has a chance to vote for freedom—may we use it wisely.

We should not get all that excited about a “leave” vote because the politicians will insist on another referendum. They will claim that the people didn’t really have enough time and information to fully understand what they were voting on. They will insist upon a lengthy campaign to ensure the people fully understood the ramifications. Of course, this might require several referendums until the people get it right.

Does this mean our brothers and sisters in the Britain, notice I did not say Kenya or the Middle East, voted against Taxation Without Representation?

Freedom is just another word Soros and Hillary want to contain.

Looks like Britain has done it! I know that with more local control they have a chance for prosperity (better now without that millstone around their neck). Congratulations on a new beginning for a great people.

Were the markets being manipulated to influence the vote? If so, it might take a while for it to rebalance as the players pull out their stakes.

The Amrita are manipulated to the point of meaninglessness when it comes to elections. Certainly people are impacted but the system is so rigged by leftists it simply becomes one more branch of propagandist control.
