HENDERSON CO., N.C. – Actress Kelly McGillis, best known for her role in the movie Top Gun, was attacked in her Henderson Co. home on Saturday June 17, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies say she came home to find Laurence Marie Dorn in her home.
McGillis was able to flee after a struggle and call 911.

Witness is an excellent movie. I have only 4 movies out at the cottage that I watch (I rarely enjoy ANYTHING Hollywood puts out, don’t even waste my time trying). The ones I watch on occasion are Witness, The Patriot, Braveheart, and my favourite, Babe.
I have a huge movie collection, mostly DVD’s. Many, many Academy award winners.
I never saw Babe.
Actually, I think Witness is Harrison Fords best. None of the Star Wars or Indiana Jones glitter. Just honest acting.
Babe is just a sweet movie about a little pig. The scenery is so beautiful, the little pig is so cute, and, well, it’s just a movie you can sit and enjoy and not think too much, or at all lol.
I agree. Hendersonville, Asheville, Transylvania counties are all cesspolls. Especially the perverts in Brevard NC. A guy named John from Brevard will remain nameless.
